Watched the first one last night, really enjoyed it.
Reviews are very positive and had a good feeling about it given the creative team involved. Keen to watch.

Didn’t realise Matt Reeves is involved as executive producer.
I wonder what sort of tidbits in this series will be a hint to how the sequel will play out. Especially character appearances.
Interesting because the cartoon also uses POC Gordon.

Also, the Penguin being female weirdly works. Just looks like Penguin in drag but it was good haha

I rolled my eyes for a second at the gender swap, but kind of gives the character bit of extra sass. Agreed it's good

Only got a handful of eps to go, really enjoyed it though.
They've gone quite diverse in characters but not so much you really notice (or at least I don't). Penguin was female, Jim/Barbara black, Harley Quinn looks Asian and is gay etc.
Been pretty dark and getting to see Batman the detective is fun.

Awesome first episode. Loved it.
Already had high expectations given what I’ve read about it. Yet it still surpassed. That was brilliant. Let Reeves cook as much as he wants in this pocket of the universe. Farrell is in his element here.
