Yes, just missed out on Batman (for Matt Reeves) and Superman apparently. Third time lucky. Maybe it was meant to be.

Yes I recall it was down to him or Pattinson for the Reeves Batman. He’s very good in everything I’ve seen him in, excellent choice this.

Is the script done? Need to know who the villains are.

Hopefully Mr.Freeze and Clayface. But apparently it'll be Hush. Sucker for the tragic best friends to super villain storyline, think Reeves can write that effectively.

It's a bit complicated but copyright usually last around 70 years and in the US I think they made some amendments in the 70's. Eg: Mickey Mouse got an extension and expired this year.

It's also the first iterations of those characters too. Superman was very different to what he was now, so not going to see anything meaningful made that any major studio would bother with.

Late to the party, but Blue Beetle was very good.

Didn't do anything new, just did it very well. The family and cultural aspects were great too.

Just a shame it got caught up in the confusion of the reboot and the strikes. Easily one of the best superhero movies in a long time IMO.

Glad (at least I think it is) that it's part of the DCU.
