Any more poo and wee stories? That's what has me the most interested tbh.
Had a pee in the snow but besides growing a mushroom it was rather disappointing. Can't write your name or collect golden snowballs.

Maybe it's the difficulty I am playing on too but I find just playing the main story rewards you enough resocurces to craft what you need to get by.
I am playing on hard and it's the same, always enough to craft what you want.

I wish it had a fast travel option, I understand why it doesn't. I get a little overwhelmed with the idea of traveling backs and forth to deliver a package. To the point that I don't really care about them if they aren't mission related.

It does - one of the reviews I saw made mention of how crap it is to use though. Have to go to one of your bases and then skip through 3 cutscenes every time you want to use it or something.

Classic.

Do you lose your cargo if you fast travel?

Sort of. You can't take anything with you, so it stays behind. But you can collect it again when you return.

I'm thinking this is goty for me so far. Not sure what the competition is though.
It is for me without a doubt, nothing has come close this year.

At a certain point you can construct ziplines. It's the fastest travel you'll get.
I have used a few for getting past some nasty enemie camps and stuff but i am not a fan of them, i still really like just getting out there and walking. Plus the other major structures you can build let you get around quick enough .

These porters must take a vow of celibacy or something.Bloody sam, carrying some chick half way across the map on his back through the rain and snow, decides to stop at a hot spring for a quick dip, he's naked ,she's naked, no one around for miles besides BB and he is sitting there twiddling his thumbs. Damn man your not getting a better shot than that.
Thankfully it wasn't at the crater hot spring which the water is meant to help induce bowl movements, that really could have killed the mood.

Might be second to me behind Sekiro, hard to judge though given they're are pretty much complete polar opposite experiences. Only still in Episode 8 as well so got a while to see how this pans out.

The fast traveling is no where near as painful as I expected, all cut-scenes can be skipped so it's easy to do. Only issue is having to go to a base. And not sure on this but if you put something in your personal locker is that accessible at any personal locker or only at the locker that you put it in?

Got to the second map and got my robot legs, I feel like the game is more open now and doesn't feel like that much of a trek, the map seems more flat as a lot more roads and pathways which is good.

You can also fast travel to safe houses that have been built by others or yourself. Makes it handy when you get to a certain bit and you are fairly far from the main delivery bases.

Didn't even know about safe houses.

I don't understand why you're provided with lethal weapons and then told not to use them because, you know, void outs n stuff.. unless there's some situation coming up that is a spoiler where you have to use them.

Probably the most annoying thing for me is the repetition of messages. I get mama or whoever telling me to check for new orders and then skull face dude always has to chime in too 'Sam, I just heard someone saying you should check for new orders. You should do like they said and check for new orders'. Next second the cufflink goes off. It's skull face again. 'Oh and Sam don't forget to check for new orders like I just told you literally seconds ago'. Stfu mate and take that ridiculous mask off.

Had a kinda humourous moment the other day, found one of the secret recordings on a roof and searched for around half an hour on how to get up and get it, said to my missus that I don' know what the **** to do and she's like don't you have a ladder? Derp... I now never leave home without a ladder (I read a guide that said don't bother carrying ladders and similar stuff as other players will have put them up so it's carry wait you don't need, **** you dude.)

It's pretty reaffirming when you get a like for a ladder or rope that you placed. It's good to know you're not the only dickhead that went that way.

I did leave my ladder for the next idiot like me who can't figure out what to do.
