I'm afraid Xavier looks a bit slow. Painfully slow actually. The last Swan's player with as much speed as him was Barry Round. In saying all this, I'm sure we will make a play for him:(
He sounds like Gault IMO, tests well athletically but on the field looks treacle slow.

It's actually one of the other Swans delistings that I'm curious about.

I remember hearing our club mentioned in the same breath as Abe Davis before the trade period, and obviously nothing came of it at that stage, but if we ever really were interested in him, maybe we'll look at him as a rookie?

Talented, young, tall Indigenous 20yo, who's been an emergency for Sydney a few times, but never broken through for a senior game.

He's probably still got a bit of improvement in him, compared to Xavier Richards, who's 3 years older than him.

Yeah that was the name I looked at to. Bit surprised to see him delisted. Seem to think he was reasonably rated his draft year.

I may be in the minority on here but I don't rate Xavier Richards at all. I know he's only youngish but I wasn't really that impressed by his year. A bit blah for me. Hope he ends up on a list but not ours.

Nah I'm with you. He's nothing special at all. Have you seen him kick on the run? Worm burner is his stock standard kick.

Surely our list management team have a crack at Litherland. Limited opportunity at Hawthorn but I thought he played pretty well when given his chances.

There's a few guys worth a look at for depth down back.

Tom Lee interests me. At least he is still relatively young with some potential and a good height. I saw him play a game last year where he looked really good. Apart from that though he has been hopeless. Not bad depth though.

Litherland is obviously one worth keeping an eye on as a potential rookie, as would Silvagni. I have never rated Silvagni, but he was actually good in the last month this year and did some good shut down jobs.

Talented.

Sydney have a high work ethic that he struggled with.

I'd have a look at Eli Templeton - the saints are a classic case of having too many early draft picks and not being able to give them all a game, but he showed a bit when he was given a chance early on so he's worth a punt imo.

Whats the latest on Blair does anyone know? Still hasnt signed? What can he possibly be waiting for?
Not that i will be having sleepless nights in the mean time.
