any way just noticed minson getting a few mentions, while i haven't been his biggest fan over the past couple of years ( thought we should have traded him after his AA season) I have never questioned his desire and value around the club.

you could not find a better guy around the club who is just so giving with his time with the fans and great with the kids, if you get him for 2017 you'll be getting a good guy and fan favourite.

It it time to commence Operation Spangher. Aside from the guaranteed flag from simply having him on the list, the real issue is we don't have a someone that is simply going to galvanise the group by merely existing. After losing Lynch, Abbott and Gault in three successive years, we have nobody. Who are we going to rely on? Chris-t Mayne? Hell no. Lynden 'The False Prophet' Dunn? Puh-lease. Will 'Hoskin' Elliott? I will stare blankly into your eyes, then throw my head back in disgust and evoke some unintelligible groan. Our club is imploding and we need a new lord and saviour. Do all of you think Hawthorn all of a sudden becoming irrelevant was due to them trading out Mitchell and Lewis? Nope.

It was due to allowing this creature to roam free. The fact that he is singlehandedly saving impoverished children in the third world country of Idaho by feeding them Sherrins says it all really. What an inspiration. If Hine really is a recruiter, he will surely come to his senses and make the correct decision.

I don't mind Spangher, experienced, seems to have a level of intelligence, can he kick I can't remember?

Dal Santo is still my number 1 DFA if the club is considering the option.

We obviously want players who can kick well and I'm not familiar enough with any of the DFA to assess that. Was going to try effective disposals on footywire but Nathan Brown has 84% this year so won't rely on that stat.

From a youth perspective you'd think Schade (Suns), Lee (Saints), Litherland (Hawks) worth a look and Spangher or Silvangi if want someone more experienced. Not sure about mobility of any of them and that's obviously another trait to be considered. Look at rookie list if not up to senior spot standard.

Just wanted to change my number 1 de-listed free agent target after reading the herald sun article. Didn't realise Shaun Edwards was available, really don't know why this kid ain't playing AFL, hopefully being de-listed is the kick up the chocolate star fish he requires.
Still only 22, 190 cm, electric pace, skill and talented. Very inconsistent to date.
