i thought i might aswell have a go at making a side. having played in both divisions and gathering other information from this thread i've came up with.

B: Gleeson Equid McQueen
(Mont) (L/Plenty) (D/Creek)

HB: Dagher Summers Neil
(W/Preston) (Lalor) (Mont)

C: Shaw Berak Holmes
(L/Plenty) (T'town) (W/Preston)

HF: Bailey Fairchild Tenace
(Lalor) (G'borough) (L/Plenty)

F: Whittaker Lynch Coen
(W/Preston) (Macleod) (W/Preston)

Rucks: Atkins Mitchell Brown
(G'borough) (Bund) (N/Park)

Int: Bennett Dennis Dyson Gibson
(Macleod) (Bund) (Wh'sea) (H'bridge)

Emg: Steven Toll Walsh
(Mont) (Wh'sea) (H'bridge)

Noticed no one has included Adam Coff in their best U/19's side. Would surely get a spot in the side. Played his first senior game at 15 and was best on last week for Whittlesea seniors in their losing final.

Dale Equid will be a very handy player for Eltham 19s next year...very solid down back.

Any news on this kids future for next year. It will be interesting to see if he gets picked up in this years draft as a smokey and that is pretty likely judging by the amount of interest he is attracting. Has been likened to a young Wayne Carey in his hey day. Mops up superbly down back but is also known to drift down and play as a bustling CHF and snag a few goals

The only players i rated this year for Wallan under 19s were: Collier and Zerrella. What do u guys think?

Where is Luke Soligo heading? Eltham? Diamond Creek? he wil be very organised and ready to say where he is playing in exactly 1 month, 2 weeks, 5 days, 18 hours and 23.5 seconds.

I hear Lukey boy is heading to panther place in the next 4 weeks 6 days and 7 hours. He is ferociously training and will be ready for next year. very efficient with rdi's and apparently he studies 3 + 4 pe.

He's peaking in the pre season, will rock up to every game in a limo you would think, if hes organised enough that is.

Hes organised a limo dont worry about that. Hes actually rocking up to round 3 and 7 in a helicopter. He is a gun and would be serviceable to any club.

cant really say too much bout the bloke.

dont see how that is relevant in this thread.
umm i heard panther might not be gettin under 19s next year, its gonna be a hard decision to make for any bloke who wants to get a gig down there.

Should get one.... a good club, good environment, u17s are a freakish unit, unbelievedly skilled and muscular, so should be good next year IF a side is manufactured.

Guys,

I told you all a few days ago, West are a class above everybody.
Don't be suprised if Mont knock off Bundy this week.

Great Pick up Reporter,

West have been a certain class above the rest since they had that kick in the pants against Epping, they grew and became tighter since that loss. Whereas when Bundoora were beaten by Lalor they kept on their arrogant ways, not learning from the loss. If I was a WPL player I would be thanking Epping for embarrassing them in round 10.

In saying this though Bundoora didnt play as bad as what the scoreboard says, they had probably just as much of the ball as WPL but they had no forward structure. The centre clearances would have been ridiculously high favouring the bulls but the Lakies back line was fantastic.

I would have given the votes accordingly:

3. Tom O'Neil (#27 WPL)
2. Rohan King (#24 Bun)
1. Ryan Ewing (#1 WPL)

Is is going to be under 18's or 19's comp next year for the diamond valley league? I've heard news that they might revert to a 18's system or was it all speculation?

last year the clubs got to vote whether or not they wanted an 18s comp and then an under 20s comp.. both being apart of the senior club i believe.
if they were to get 18s the 17s wuld have to be scrapped so there would be bottom age under 18s. whereas if u have 18s u cant have 19s cause many clubs wont be able to fill a side.
it would be great if the dv clubs decided on it, but i believe that under 18s if they were to run, should be apart of the juniors and have under 20s that are apart of the seniors.
any news on it?

hey i posted on this b4 but it has been talking off.
does anyone know how northcote park is going next year, they dont have a 17s gropu coming through, i reckon the whole club looking to struggle.

yer fair enough, dunno mate. dont affiliate miself with yarra league teams but i would think blokes from yarra clubs such as st damians or st marys would head over to panther place this year. i guess it all depends if eltham were to get under 19s...
