Did Dale Thomas kick the best goal of all time today?

He could have taken the best mark and kicked 25 goals but it was only a trial game and no one cares because it doesn't matter.

Was absolutely brilliant. Couldn't believe it when it happened. Looked so much better in real life than on TV too... but still did look amazing on TV.
Not sure about the best of all time... but would have been GOTY last year... and probably this year if it happened in the real stuff!

Yeah, you kicked our arses in the last quarter when it looked like we just wanted to go home. You were definately the better team, but you by no means dominated. When we got going in the middle two quarters we looked fantastic, but the difference was your disposal.
Let's wait for the real stuff.

best goal i've ever seen, not just at collingwood, out of any of the goals of the year, this is the best i've seen. His foot was as high as the big roc's head.

one of best ive seen. far better than daniel wells. Just as much creative as brilliant (and by creative i dont mean dropping the ball behing urself and kicking it with the back of ur foot which the GOTY judges like). Only one at the moment that springs to mind as better was Derek Kickett's in the EJ Whitten Legends game couple of years back.

I don't know if it's as good as Lloyds. I' mean Lloyd was facing away from the goals and the ball happened to find his way near him with noone behind him (insert joke here) and he rolled it like rugby players do all the time backwards 1 whole metre for a goal. It will be hard to top that.
Anyway Dale's was great, but I hate these arsey goals that get goal of the year. Pierce's last year was far better as was a few more.

There was a ball up inside our goal square, the bounce went towards our goals away from the ruckmen, Thomas jumped up from behind the goal line, with his back to the goals, got his feet to Rocca's shoulder level
