Didak wants to return home to SA?

hehe, I get around

Fancy meetin you here Franki.

BTW, anyone who actually likes West End has no taste buds. It is filthy stuff. Only narrowly beaten by Southwark. <shudder>.

Did's isn't homesick, he's been here for years and had the chance to go back when we were after Stevens and said no. Why would he want to go back now?

Not to mention West End beer.

Ha ha ha!! West End Beer!!!

Anyways, If Didak left, I would be shattered. Absolutely Shattered!!!!

We will be even better next year if Didak can recapture his 2006 form, which I think he will now that its been a year since his knee injury.

Going off last years Tarrant trade I would not be surprised if we do offer Didak up for trade. It could be said that moving Taz on was a very good thing for us ...... they might take the same view with Didak.

I rate Dids very highly as do most of us but on field stuff is only part of the deal now. Yes he will be better next year with a full pre season but can Ed, Mick and co be bothered with the chance of another off field error? Hope they keep him but not sure.

Maybe he grew up a Norwood or Glenelg supporter. None of them would play for Port Adelaide by choice.

He played at Pooraka Footy Club where I played. It is a Port Adelaide zone and you dont really get much say in it. He dominated in juniors and was always going to be a star.

OK call me a weirdo, I just like the flavour - a lot better than Carlton/Fosters which tastes like cow piss - at least Emu piss has some character. Actually Southwark is the one I really like but I think it's about the same from memory.

Why would he want the crows when he played all his football as a port adelaide junior. that is stupid

Works for Scott Thompson.

Was quoted as hating the Crows while at the Dees (grew up staunch Port Adelaide and played all his junior footy with PAMFC) but seems to be liking his current surroundings just fine - unless you believe in conspiracy theories regarding that last kick. ;)

Just wondering if you guys could confirm/deny hearing of this rumour?

It's f....ken bullshit, didak will be a pie till his playing days are over.
Stop listening to crap, and get real.If didak was going to be traded he would not have signed that curfew contract earlier this year.Didak loves the pies and he will be part of our leadership group going forward.Next year when gets a pre season under his belt he'll be flying. He is actually starting to hit form from the sydney game, watch him go against the eagles he'll kick 3-4 this friday.
Don't be gullible, rumours are just that rumours no validity.

The rumour has been sparked by one of Didak's 'mates' who phoned 5AA on Saturday morning. The caller said he spoke with Didak a couple of weeks ago and he has had enough of Melbourne and wants to return home. Caller went on to say that Didak does not want to go to Port and would prefer a trade to the crows.

ha ha that was me, fooled you all.See what i mean ...don't be gullible rumours are just total bullshit.
Ok it wasn't me,but gee people,i would only believe something like that if it was Didak's manager that rang 5aa and mooted something, not some port adelaide or crows supporter that HOPES something like that would happen.

You're phailing big time with this post. I just asked because I had heard the rumour, and you go on to rant and rave as if I'm telling you it's a fact!! Grow up.

If Dids goes, does it explain the Robertson talk a few weeks back.

I can understand Dids wanting to return after the year he has had, but if he was retained, and things turned around for next year I think he would stick around for the long term.

Anyway I think if Dids walked it would be a cowardly act, after the fact we stuck by him when Stevens wanted to play for Collingwood, not to mention giving him another chance after he disgraced himself earlier this year.

Alan, if you read this, you still owe us mate:thumbsu:.

LOL!

I'd take knights for Didak if they offered that without a second thought.

And we'll trade you Ian Perrie for Sean Rusling ;)

Don't think Didak would be suited to the Crows and Port have Motlop and Ebert playing reasonably similar roles. I think Didak would be better at Collingwood than any SA club at the moment.

CH 9 in Adelaide reported that there are reports that Didak wants back to SA and that he is not interested in going to Port. I would think its just a recycled rumour though. We get plenty of those at this time of the year.

Our CEO was on local radio yesterday and something he said perked my ears a bit. He said that there are no key forwards on offer and that we would be looking for a quick, clever forward line crumber and some pace through the midfield as well as hard inside midfielder. I joined the dots together and came up with Didak as the forward line crumber/ quick midfielder.

It will be interesting to follow this scenario but wouldn't be surprised if its just a crappy rumour we get every year around this time.

Didak earlier this year was desperate to do anything he could to stay at the club , such was his love for the place.
If Collingwood were considering trading Didak , which I doubt , but hypothetically , there would be a major supporter backlash , Didak is much more cherished across the board than a player like Tarrant. A much better footballer as well.

Because Tarrant had 1 year of real quality football (AA) and many underachieving, indifferent years. Didak at 24 has already worked up to AA and has had 1 year of indifferent form and injury, if it was to keep going he would be as loved/loathed across the board as tarrant was

I would suggest personality and often imposing himself on the game in critical moments , which Tarrant generally didn't , are other factors in why Didak is strongly liked.
