Anything to do with William’s sister and what she saw would be dealt with in Closed Court at the inquest; if at all.

We wouldn’t be privy to it, and neither would the media.
Amen to that! Poor kid she has gone through enough she does not need everyone discussing what she did and did not see or do especially friends.

How far could he get on foot in a few hours? IMO he's going to be travelling at 2kmh at best but much slower in bush, and would be very tired after under an hour at which time he'd give up. So he could never have gotten 2km away from the house.
Even that is a 12 square km search zone - too big to be covered by a handful of dogs.
If you extend it to a 5km radius and assume he was taken in a short car trip and dumped, then we are talking about 78 square kilometres - just impossible to search thoroughly.
Paraphrased, probably paywalled for some

The forensic search in 2018 covered a 3km radius & went for 4 weeks

It was thorough. Covered every inch of a 3sqkm area from 48 Benaroon Drive.

Search dogs & police officers were fitted with GPS devices to meticulously map the ground covered.

This was spoken about at the inquest, with maps shown etc.

Published 29 June 2018

Search teams and cadaver dogs will now return to the main, larger search area near William's grandmother's home from where the toddler disappeared in September 2014.

Maps in link , paywalled.

I think it would have been different.
For one, FF would not have left to go do a work call the next day (Saturday).
The FM wouldn't have had to look after the kids by herself with her mum watching/judging.
Yes of course, but does seem strange, the sudden rush to be there on Thursday when FF had work to do Friday morning and notifying FGM on the way up instead of arranging it with FGM first.

A 3km radius seems more than adequate to locate a small 3YO boy with asthma on foot.
If he got there on his own steam they would have found him.

But in a car he could have been moved well outside this radius in a matter of minutes.

And then he would never be found.

I imagine that as it gets darker and your foster kids bedtime passes and he hasn’t been found yet, that you could quite easily experience a panic attack.
I am wondering if the FM actually remembered enough to tell FF all of the things she had forgotten? Wonder if FF had a vision of William at the house?

It would be interesting to hear from someone local who is familiar with foxes there.

July to October is breeding season so they would have likely been more active during the time he went missing, and possibly with more mouths to feed.

Would depend how many family groups/dens in that area as to how quick his remains could have been removed.

Could happen in 1 to 3 days before the searchers got to that area.

GJ is an utter idiot imo. Planting a listening device and determining guit or innocence entirely on the back of what's said is useless..All it does is prove what they said when you listened not what they did. Either that or it proves the person was wise to him. 500% GJ....Cinderella. Look it up.. black eyes. Falling off a chair, hitting his head and couldn't hear....or my favourite....bouncing out of his skull..Shake my head..
Perhaps, as he's an experienced homicide detective, bugging them wasn't the entire extent of his investigation into them.

What time was Peter on BCR? Seems a very simple basic question. Surely he passed the Tennis Club CCTV?
Surely between himself and Michelle they would have some idea of time? Was his phone on and pinging? Did he call anyone? Purchase anything? SFR have had years to check this out. What was the time????
Yes he did, I have provided the times back in this thread.

Doubtful. Foxes tend to live solitary lives and usually have about a 1km radius to themselves. They do get together to mate, and a pair may stay together for a while. There will only be one male. Other female offspring might hang around mum and dad for a little while but they don't form packs or units.

Mmmmm, The Tapes?????
Didn't make him feel slightly uneasy?
Was Jubelin wearing a matching orange pocket square?
The tapes that led a judge to conclude there's no pattern of that behaviour? Most of us have been less than perfect parents at times - not you by the sounds of it - and his foster parents had a more stressful parenting experience than most. I've never struck a child but I've been less than perfect in other ways, they did the wrong thing but that says nothing about them hiding the death of their child. For 10 years. While lobbying for a million dollar reward.

Gary must be truly besotted with an old married woman to throw away his career! And her husband!

You have posted in this thread 128 times.
I don't recall you ever posting the times that Peter passed the tennis club CCTV.
I skimmed over your posts again and couldn't find it.
I am sorry I am so stupid and for wasting your time but would you mind please linking the post with these times for me and anyone else who might have missed them among your 128 posts.

No that’s not what I mean. You can have multiple families (male, female, babies) within an area due to urban sprawl and during breeding season. It’s certainly the case in my local area.
