Just saying though, they DID keep his foster care status quiet with the help of Insight. How long it was before Insight was told William was a foster child, who knows.

There could be many reasons for wanting to keep the foster status quiet.

Pretty sure Ben has an alibi for when William went missing and was not in Kendall if that is what you mean ???

It doesn't have to be Ben that took him, or even be handed him. He could have arranged someone else to do it.

If there was talk about the adoption on Friday, 12/9/2014, I can't see how the FPs would not be in contact with him. I can see FM would have been all over it.

But what if the FPs found out than William's BPs had found out they were looking to adopt and they were going to fight that?
Could this communication/texts have been deleted?

Like I said, I don't know if I'm looking at the right person but the Salvos and Immigration is connected.

William could have been taken out of the country before anybody was looking at abduction, he was a missing boy on that day.

I've looked at this because of the Selfie he took with William. I think that is really weird and inappropriate for it to happen to a child in care.
How many other selfies has he taken with foster kids?

Like people have said, he could be anywhere.

Yes the Photo of William is younger, and I do not know by how much.

But I can't help thinking IMO that his face looks thin for a preschooler. He's still only 3, and I don't think, IMO, he looks very happy. He is not smiling. He seems to have bags under his eyes. Ok a bit older but looks like a different child. Again all IMO.
Just my observations. A photo we have all seen many times.

Edit: I am not saying he is a different child. I'm just saying that something has changed for that chubby kid to now look different.

It may be the angle of the photo he looked stocky in another photo on the verandah

It's a good question. We might also ask whether strings were pulled or corners cut to make this happen.
Was this the best available foster situation? Two over-50s with no parenting experience whatsoever, limited training or accreditation. Why 2 very young children at once and why so quick to move to adoption? Surely this is not normal practice?
I'm sure there would be other carers with better skills and experience more suited to looking after 2 very young children - perhaps a younger couple with one or more older children who could provide a more socially familiar environment, who understood the needs and demands of toddlers?
Or was it just a mad rush to get them off the books and satisfy the demands of an entitled couple who thought having a couple of foster kids would make them look good?
There were possibly also other desperate young couples on the long adoption waiting lists who would have loved to adopt William and his sister should the opportunity have arisen. How did the fosters jump to the front of this particular queue?

If it’s ok with everyone, I’d like to revisit the topic of the discussed ‘adoption’. Like you I think there’s a lot that’s suss from the very beginning.

Seems they got the ball rolling as soon as William’s obligatory 2 years with the Fosters was up, and were ready to prove their ‘ stable relationship and that their adoption of the child would promote the child’s welfare ‘ - which seems a big ask considering FM complaints to Ben the case worker about being at her wits end with William.

Of course she blamed the bio parents and her argument was that with them out of the way, he would be fine ( good for his welfare ) She may not have been aware of the Open Adoption clauses these days that encourage relationships with bio family.

I thought there was an ‘adoption meeting’ planned . Was it for that Friday ? Were they going to do that online - from somewhere, given poor service at FGM ? Who was going to look after the kids ?
Or am I totally confused with my dates - apologies if so.

Sister in green dress is sitting on her Mums lap she is four and looks a lot older and a lot healthier.(bigger)
William is with his father he is 3 he looks a lot smaller .

That is what has stayed in my brain.
It was being discussed on that Friday, 12th September.
And the BM was shocked because she was still trying to get William back.
My brain keeps certain details and these 2 things have stuck.

Why would you think that? I would have thought White would be trying to keep things very quiet, at least regarding the foster situation. ?

It was in one of the books that the Insight folks said they saw a social media post and connected it with the foster family somehow. So if this is the case there must have been some existing connection?

I agree 100%. I have read Michelle White was the link due to an association or friendship with FM sister? Still puzzled why Michele White spent 9 days at Kendall after William’s disappearance?

Really.
He looks stocky in your opinion. The bio mother may not agree. Never dismiss the Mother, that is what we were told.

He is not looking at the camera. There is no clear picture of his face on the previous photos. He is not drawing. He is just throwing crayons or leaves. He looks thin. He has dirty feet. He can not even smile.
He is not standing up and running around with all that energy. We can not tell if he can even stand at this time. Why does he have no energy. Is there a problem with William before 9:37? Just asking the question.

Were these people looked at?
The poor Police, they have so many dogdy people to look at.
I take my hats of to them.
I made the mistake of 'sleuthing' within a couple of days from when William went missing and stopped, I just thought 'good luck'.

That's what the people around me and myself thought, exactly that.
We were very wrong.

The Dan Box podcast shouldn't have been allowed to proceed IMO through the Coroner's inquiry's last tranche and before the DPP has delivered their decision on the police brief.

Given public interest factors in to the decision, Box's podcast has the potential to further poison public discourse.

Of course you’re right. But from what I have gathered, Dan et al told the cops through formal channels about what he was doing before episodes started to drop. So it’s not like they’ve not expected it.

Just as in with journalists the producers of the podcast would have to give each side a right of reply. So they (NSWPol) would have been provided with that opportunity.


And imo the whole point of the podcast is to poison the public discourse, is it not? Dan has been very honest that the point is not to find William. So what is the point?

Should the Coroner subpoena it? Yes.
Should it be paused from public access until the inquest is done? Yes.

Is the purpose of the podcast to be able to say that the foster mother won’t get a fair trial if the DPP ever decides to prosecute her case? Maybe.

Personally, I want to see who paid the hotel bills of the fosters when they met up with Dan in those clandestine meetings he brags about. Did News Corp pay no notice to the Auerbach revelations? Was nothing learnt?
