Pulled over to let a truck pass, he waved thank you but never came forward. Two cars seen in street that morning which is disputed by neighbours. Went out bike riding with FGM watching and seeing the mysterious U turn man but FGM doesn't even mention bike riding in her walk through and thant man never came forward. Went for a 1.3 klm drive after WT went missing searching after leaving him alone only 5 minutes. FGM says FF left before 8 to go 5 minutes for chemist opening at 9.

Lies which promote an abduction are just outright fabrications

Lies which cant be categorised as so may be partly true to hide the actual truth. These are the 1.3 klm trip and FF leaving before 8. Leaving before 8 is supported by the fact she (FGM) had to self correct the number at breakfast.

The things id like to ask FD is whether FF was there at breakfast and was WT there too. Also like her to be asked whether she remembers the pictures being taken that day and whether FF was there standing beside FM when they were taken. I'd like her to be asked whether there was any time where FM played alone with FD and WT wasn't there. In particular at around 9.10 when FF was gone, children were heard playing and GO phone call wasn't answered. Where was FGM during this time

I'd like to have online meeting participants to answer if FF behaviour seemed distracted or quiet / failed to participate .. nervous or anxious

Id like both neighbours who heard the kids be asked whether they heard a boys voice in that play.

I'd like FM to be asked whether she played with FD alone at any point after 9. Caution her that you already know the answer( is use FD no longer in care to force her to tell truth).. ask her whether at any stage you counselled FD on where WT was. Eg he went off in search of FF. Caution her that you know the answer. I'd like her to be asked whether her FGM ever owned two (not just one) pink blankets. Caution her that you know the answer.

I think she did go for a drive and that a truck driver did see her.

There’s no reason for her to say she went in the car to look for WT with the oddly specific information that a truck driver saw her with her head out the window if she never did.

To me this story is to provide an excuse for why she was throwing something out the window or why she’d pulled over, in case the truck driver came forward with what he’d seen.

She only told this story during the walk through video. It’s not in her statement, it’s not been mentioned again.

I think she told this story when she did because this was around the time police were stopping all cars in and out of Kendall to ask if they’d seen any suspicious vehicles or people acting suspiciously.

I think FM panicked and realised someone may came forward because she was behaving suspiciously.

I think when the coroner stopped the inquest and the police said they’d received new info and it started going in the fosters direction it was because the truck driver had come forward.

If this driver was interstate or just not from the area I doubt he would come forward. For what reason? There was nothing about looking for FGM’s car and no one knew what FM looked like. Why would he think anything of a woman on the side of the road?

Who knows maybe he told Crimestoppers and no one followed it up because the cops weren’t looking at FM.

Just because we are obsessed with this case, many are not. They may have heard of it, but I’m surprised by the number of people who still think it was the washing repairman guy.

I can’t remember where I read this but the online meeting was just FF and one client.

That argument is not applicable in this case, imho as the biological mother has gone on to have four more children after William and L, and there’s definitely no baby bonus on offer anymore. She would have had William and L anyway, regardless of a baby bonus.
I think you missed the point of the comment.

The problem is we know he was alive the night before, just not the day he was reported missing. He may never have been in a Spiderman suit.
It’s unfortunate we can’t see William’s face in the photos taken at McDonalds the night before he went missing.
That would provide a good comparison to the photos said to be taken that morning on the patio /deck.

Of course not. It’s more reference to a complex and maybe broken system, which is evident from from very young children living in hotel rooms with 24/7 supervision because there’s more children under care than foster parents.
Not to mention children as young as infants living in “safe houses” with paid carers working shifts around the clock.

But fortunately the FF had him on his shoulders so we at least see him better than his sister. 🤨
(I don't give up easily 😂)

Whose claims do you mean, LRitz? Mick Willing? the people who called Crime Stoppers? or Dan Box?
Don't think i will listen to the podcast, so not sure. But I saw they even had a picture of Bill Spedding. It will be interesting if to see if they interview him on how he was treated.

My thoughts only - IMO: Looking at possible faults in the investigation (when we do not know the full story) is not helpful in the resolution for the case of William Tyrrell - which should be the priority. This podcast looks like to be a sensational distraction.

I have listened to some of it, but it is clear to me that it's not an objective analysis of the case, but is presenting a highly opinionated view. It seems selective in what they talk about, and what they deliberately omit. Just another example of vested interests controlling the mass media in this country (if not the world).

Shadows are funny things as you say, sometimes it is hard to explain. We can see the moon at night because it reflects the sun's rays. It also reflects the sun's rays when it is visible during the day. I wonder how it affects shadows?

"We sometimes see the daytime moon for the same reason we see it at night — it is reflecting light from the sun — and its closeness to Earth makes it brighter than the daytime or nighttime sky. After the sun, the moon is by far the brightest celestial object we can see."

My partner does photography of moon, moonlight and moon risings regularly. Have to be patient yo capture the special ones

The moon is reflective light from the sun. During the day there usually isn't strong enough reflective light to itself influence shadow. The fact you see the moon at all means it's clear enough not overcast which itself means the direct sunlight will dominate light sources and shadow. Of a nighttime when there is no direct sunlight the moonbeam if it's strong enough can cast a shadow. Just as the sun has different times for rise so too does the moon. My wife regularly tries to capture moon rising on days when the sunset creates pink reflective light against the clouds in opposite direction usually east beachside locations..then you get a pinkish sky with soft moon graduating to full moonbeam as light dies. Some great pictures.

Exactly! I am saddened that is why there is so much burn out by workers. We have started the path to sexual abuse now all of us need to demand a path forward for these children.
The government finds a cheap solution in child care fees.
Why don’t parents who have had children removed have to attend classes in developmental psychology basic household expenditure and domestic sciences 3 basic things.
Even if you are very wealthy that does not make you a capable parent.
Classes for parents also requires resources which are in high demand and short supply. But I agree with the concept - put more resources into equipping parents to care for their biological children better and more properly, rather than breaking up families, and assigning kids to a 'system' which is inherently broken, and perpetuates a cycle of domestic breakdown. (Children in foster care often go on to have broken relationships, and children of their own who go into care ...).

My personal experience was fostering a young child where the bio mum had several children in different care situations, so there were multiple foster families, multiple case workers, all providing care, regularly driving the kids around so they could meet each other and their mum and to different schools etc. Meanwhile, mum struggled with an intellectual disability and some other 'issues'. But, for the same money, the Department could have placed an in-house carer/social worker with Mum, to help her with basic parenting duties (and keep her on the 'straight and narrow'). And the kids could all have remained together as a family. We cared for the child as best we could, but I think on balance they suffered mentally and psychologically from all this disconnect from bio family.

Yeah listened to first podcast..probably will listen to more but have definitely resolved to take with a grain of salt any conclusions they draw. Rather I'm looking for facts where too much information is disclosed which when analysed can positively contribute to the case in a way that is objective. There might be some

I resent being manipulated to an outcome

That's the problem with this case. There are very few undeniable 'facts' on which you can hang your hat.
Phone records, CCTV, electronic records. That's about it.
Eye-witness statements are unreliable unless corroborated independently.
Everything else is just narrative, conjecture, speculation.
And then the media come in and 'colour' everything the way they want the public to see it.

I've said this before, but I have so much faith in the capacity of people on this thread that had police provided ALL the evidence we collectively would have solved it.

I'm not convinced the police have much more than what they have disclosed.
Except for the identities of the fosters, which I believe, if were disclosed back in 2014 might have blown the case wide open.

The FPs were on the cusp of going down the adoption route..We know that FPs wanted WT and FD to prefer them as parents that's why they hid biological parents Xmas presents from them. You wonder if the catalyst for whatever happened was a confrontation over rejection.

Perhaps they spoke to them and he bluntly told them he wants his real mum and dad . That wouldn't have gone down well. Retribution. Further things said by WT and KAPOW.....it hits fan....a major confrontation

Yep, I know how it goes. Just thinking if there were scattered clouds that morning the moon in the west might have been strong enough to affect (confuse) shadows if the sun was behind a cloud.

Don't know enough to say for certain if it could. Seems reasonable.

Ive looked at that photo again..please have a look..it seems to me that in addition to the soft shadow there are shadows from the planter legs coming straight back at the photographer.. The Michelle White shot shows what seems to me is an outdoor light 8' high on that brick wall toward the carport.

If the light remained on though sun was up it would definitely affect shadow composition and explain those shadows in particular

Fair enough. Thanks for explaining.
