I wonder if Badness coincided with the search in that it tipped off the investigators about the fact that she (the FM) got out of the car on the drive??

Or maybe they already knew

Badness went on sale 7/9/2022, he left the force in 2019.

I have read somewhere that the postie fitted the description of 'large sized blonde woman' and the postie uniform consisted of a black t-shirt and shorts which is what Peter the truckie described (his) 'blonde woman' as wearing.

From memory there is a photo online that verified the uniform worn at Kendall PO. And that then makes sense as to why the woman driving the black camry that Peter the truckie witnessed was also parked outside the Kendall op shop because isn't that also near the post office?
If it’s the postie she might have been doing her run later than first assumed due to media. If the postie was in Kendall not yet started her mail run after 9, (a car was heard) maybe she was delivering at the time William ‘disappeared.’
Maybe she can confirm if there was any commotion going on looking for a child. Maybe she can verify who’s cars are in the drive.

I'd think this should have been settled already, the postie surely was interviewed by the cops. The posties see everything.

It was a postie who noticed a strange car that wasn't usually there in a street in Frankston of all places, and reported it to the police. Turned out it was Paul Denyer, the Frankston serial killer. The cops might still be looking for him if it wasn't for the postie.

Sorry. I provided a completely wrong answer in my first attempt to answer your question and have edited my post to correct it.

I think it was Craddock on Wednesday's inquest hearings questions to Peter the truck driver, who appeared via AVL.

Why did Peter the truck driver (not Thomas the tank engine) - not appear himself - he appears by AVL

Could Peter therefore, be in prison ? via. Video link ?

The postie had a DVO or an AVO out on Paul Savage.

He had to pick up his mail from the post office from that point on. So, has she been interviewed by police or not? Where is her statement?

Has she been excluded from the list of persons of interest? I want to hear her story.

I do not know think Peter was in prison, he is just not in Lidcombe.

Witnesses generally get offered a return plane ticket to court or can dial in via AVL if allowed, if they don’t live in the local area.

I’d think so but we know it was well after 9 and FM said she can’t remember how long it was before she realised William disappeared. (Assumably after 9.37.)

What! Are you serious?
(to quote one of your responses to a post of mine today)

The postie likely was too exposed and vulnerable a public figure of wherever she has worked as a delivery postie for her info on other locals to be made public. IMHO.

I think they said he kept yelling at his dog who was barking.

:pAh - but, that could have been a Drug Dog with a handler in the prison !

I've been speed-reading Jubes wrote a book BALDNESS

ffs

I'm now moving to book an optometrist appointment pronto

The postie should have been asked whether she did a U turn in the FGMs driveway. The current position is that the vehicle that did the U turn in the FGMs driveway hasn't been identified, so they must have ruled her out.

I think they had thought about suspects to support the "taken" theory. Including the bio family, but also the neighbours that come and go, the recent repair men who visited the house, the sneaky u turn driver. Sending the police on dead ends and taking up their time.
He was taken ... sounds released IMO.
Edit : He was taken ... sounds REHEARSED
I know not everyone agrees with statement analysis, but my feeling is that a person who wasn't guilty would say something like 'someone took him', or 'someone might have taken him'. "He was taken", especially over and over again using those exact words, sounds like you're cutting out "and i was the one that took him, elsewhere to hide his body" ie its not 'lying' its just omitting the second part of the sentence, so they're more comfortable saying it.

He wanted to do a handover of everything, but they refused. It is highly unusual to not have a handover.

The formal handover has been disputed. There was a handover, it's just that Gary Jubelin wasn't allowed to do it.

I usually try and at least post about upcoming releases (Sep 2022) of books like this that could/ or are known to have info on this case in.

Don't think I did for this one, although I remember seeing it was coming out.

Had to check my Kindle collection just now to see if I'd purchased this one of Jubelin's books and forgotten about it, or forgotten to read it. Not in my Kindle library or Amazon purchases.
She allegedly got out of the car.
She allegedly drove to the riding school
She allegedly…..

Without corroborated evidence one can not be sure.

I'd be interested to know if and when the Crabbes first heard the FGM calling out for William. If they heard a car doing a U turn in the driveway, surely they would have heard the FM yelling out for him?

Well they wouldn’t have heard the foster father because he was like “William”, “William”, the most timid shout-out one could muster.

The vehicle heard by the Crabbes doing a U turn in the FGM driveway, was on gravel. That would be the first driveway on the right as you approach the house, probably not the second concreted driveway where the carport is. IMO.

There's some loose stones on Benaroon Drive but I wouldn't call it gravel road.

I would doubt that someone would do a u-turn at that point. It is very close to the corner (dogleg) and would be poor driving to do it there. Also, if you look at the older google maps versions (2010 is closest), it is quite overgrown with grass, which would lessen the gravel noise.

Where the bitumen ends at the fire track, there is quite a bit of gravel, both at the end of the road and to the left hand side. I think if a u-turn was heard involving gravel, it is a lot more likely to have occurred there.

The Crabbes are also better positioned to hear the gravel noise at the end of the road.

Does anyone have time to count the amount of times News Corp broke the suppression order in this episode of Witnes:William Tyrrell?

I’m starting to count just the bio mothers name and I am estimating that Dan or Nina say her name a total of about 200 times in this one episode alone.

That episode is still live and still exposing the names of there key biological family members.

It’s outrageous because we have known about detectives that have attended the houses of people who have written the foster parents name online even once.

How is that fair?
