I don't know I wasn't in the media room. I don't know what they can see.

Depends on where you sit in the court room in the actual court, but yes you can see the Fosters
I speculate that many of the media would have wanted to be in the inquest room (as opposed to the media room) to be able to more clearly have a better opportunity to see/hear the demeanour and reactions of the FM, FF, and some key NSW Police figures.

William Tyrrell's foster father launched into a vile tirade about a 10-year-old girl, calling her a 'f*ing lazy c*', police allege in court evidence witnessed by Daily Mail Australia.

The foster father, known as JS, launched into an expletive-laden rant about the girl about 7.40am on November 23, 2020, according to evidence played at Parramatta Local Court.

In a recording, JS could be heard claiming that the girl had ruined the lives of both he and his wife. He yelled at the crying girl: 'Move, f***ing move,' according to the recordings.

In recordings made in a North Shore house and in a vehicle, JS was trying to get out the girl out of the couple's freshly renovated, five bedroom property to go to school. However, she was having trouble with the door, due to the property modifications, which had been made due to an impending sale.

And now the same foster parents seem to blame the police for ruining their lives.

It’s always someone else’s fault.

Who really is at fault here?

It’s not the girl. It’s not the police. IMO

Absolutely DISGRACEFUL words indeed from the FF to a 10 year old girl. And who could forget the FM threatening to smear LT’s face in faeces? They certainly showed their true colours.

It’s really senseless that there are some media (not many but some) attempting to paint the foster parents as the victims in all of this.

I think we need to get real, and I think the public is pretty clued up on this case now.

This, according to Dan Box, is PNG. Where the foster mother, according to passenger cards cards that Dan says were dug out if the National Archives, spent some of her formative years.

“Massacres, gang rapes and sorcery-related attacks continue unabated, with belief in sanguma spreading with the use of social media.

Port Moresby, the PNG capital, is considered to be one of the most dangerous cities in the world, where 'raskol' crime gangs carry out violent robberies, carjackings and pack rapes.

Residents, especially foreign visitors, must hole up in armed compounds, and golf courses and other sporting areas are protected by guards armed with machetes and guns.”

To understand someone, you have to understand where they came from. IMO.

Senior Constable Wendy Denise Hudson from Port Macquarie notes are good.

Her notes (18 Sept) says she she returned to the FGM's house on Friday 12th at 6pm. FM was cooking something. Drinking wine. FF was upset.

What I wish I could see is what was SC Hudson was thinking about all of this. Did she think it was odd that Foster Parents were in the position to be able to prepare a meal. It is not clear if FF, FM, or both are drinking wine. And most importantly she does not report on the type of wine. They allegedly left Sydney earlier than planned. Did they have time to throw in a bottle of Pinot from Marlborough, or did FGM have wine to their taste in her cellar.
Drinking a wine to calm down isn’t a prob IMO

True & that's why I suggest the one question on drop cloth's was not reported on ;)

alwaysintrigued, re the one and only question on drop cloths: was it asked in the context of other questions about a similar topic? eg questions about what was in the garage, or about whatever work FGM was having done to the house, or... ? Did you get a sense of why that question was asked? Thank you.

I got a sense that the question was probably asked to see how the FM reacted to and responded to any questions asked about the garage.

I'm struggling to recall and don't have a written record of how far apart the drop sheets discussion was from the car keys discussion in the NSW Crime Commission recording played on Thursday at the inquest.

And what about FM including that small side street in her drive. Or the other (left) direction on BCR.
But the narrative (haven't you been paying attention 99 😂) is William only goes down hill like water - FF. He does not go up hill - FGM. So this is the reason FM did not drive up to the end Benaroon past the unoccupied house at 52
That unoccupied house has always worried me

With respect, no I don't consider a car's use is the very next thing you do in your scenario. He is 3 yo and without shoes. Any adult can easily catch up with a 3 year old on foot if he was gone 5 mins and isn't a wanderer as has been relied upon repeatedly. You most definitely wouldn't drive 1.3 klm away. Ridiculous and incriminating imo..You wouldn't revert to use of a car at all. It is imo aberrant to the circumstances..Later perhaps when foot searches were exhausted but not at that initial point.

Then what she said to AMS as first discussion...."he might have hit his head and cant hear me"

No one mentioned a hit to a head. Why did she ? To offer it as speculation for his absence is massively Incriminating. It is a consciousness of guilt behaviour. One of many..
Maybe he had hit his head earlier

Were you at the inquest, BFew?

Edited to add: Sorry, feel free to ignore the question if you prefer. I'm wondering what was asked or answered about the car keys, etc.

This is just adding 2 and 2 and getting 5 IMO.

How long do you think it would take to establish he very likely wasn't in the house or immediate garden vicinity outside the house? I reckon 30 seconds of calling his name inside the house. Then maybe 90 seconds doing a lap of the house outside, calling his name and looking as far as the eye can see in all
I’ll recount a terrifying incident (some may have heard previously) and in so doing I respectfully ask, do you have young children ?

My 4 year old was playing out the front with older next door child. Suddenly I couldn’t see him & play mate says she doesn’t know where he is.

I’ll tell you that the searching ‘everywhere’ - literally in cupboards, under beds, behind furniture etc., in the yard, shaking boxes they were playing with etc - also the calling … it took a lot longer than 30 seconds!

We discussed had he been abducted, we discussed calling Police, and we discussed what we might be missing, so then went for another search, everywhere, with further enquiry of the play mate.

Finally I said ‘That’s It, I’m calling the Police’ …. and guess what - as I stated to dial, out of the Box (that I had shaken) popped a little boy! … . his playmate was in on the ‘game’ too.
Omg ! Some big lessons learnt that day, for a number of people

In this situation, I don’t know that we’ve had any insight into the thoroughness of the house searching, internally or externally. .. however if William was hiding I’m pretty sure hunger at least would have forced him out by now.
And surely if he got ‘stuck’ somewhere in / around the house it would’ve also become apparent by now.

Is it on firm Record that Police Dogs found no trace of William outside the boundary of 48 Benaroon Drive ? … I mean every part of the boundary ? Did they check the property for ‘scents’ other than what belonged to FGM, FM, FF, FD & William ?
For me, those facts are crucial, and surely they did. … if my tiny brain asks for that, I presume the best investigators already thought of that !

So next it becomes a possibility that William was removed from the property without leaving ‘ground scent’ …. . was he carried off, was he driven off, was be carted off ? ( when was bin day ?)

Smoke usually points to Fire…. and sadly for FPs there’s some smoke. … and it’s smoke that they don’t seem inclined to hose down. IMO, they have an opportunity to clear the decks of all the miscommunication, all the ambiguous reporting, all their conflicting statements - And Just Start Afresh & Tell It As It Happened.

The longer this goes on, the deeper they fall into the ‘murk’ imo. … which I think would horrify SDR. Why would she not fight to have her Truth heard ?

The 9.37 time is a critical pivot. We've heard from people at the inquest it is accepted as correct. We've seen from links on here it's impossible to detect edits. Absence accepting that we have POF of hearing children playing before and after 9. The independent POF (not seen but heard) has to be approx 9.15 then.

FGM leakage is twofold. "This is where it all happened" referring to verandah. And then "bouncing out of his skull with happiness and joy of life" or some such verbiage.

FD by comparison simply says W "went off the balcony to go look for FF"

Suggested: Argument ensued between W and FM to impress FGM that FM had Willian under complete control (which is what dysfunctional parents do not in their own setting). As a direct result of exchange W takes off to find FF to make FM stop. Yes perhaps part of dynamic. FM chases after W and he runs down balcony forgetting it led to significant height difference from ground. Why? Because he was on the ground same level when he started to run along it. They grapple toward end of balcony he thinking it was another smack she aware he was in danger and he falls backwards over balcony.

FGM is right about where it started and his skull bouncing..FD is right because it replicated behaviour patterns of what W does when FM tries to discipline.....uses FF as a shield perhaps.

Neither see the incident. FM runs around corner then to find William prostate in ferns per SFR

One possible scenario but it doesn't account for mysterious omission of bike riding.

What it does do though is give a reason to hide ab accident because the contribution to it was discipline
Umm, the balcony theory just won’t work for me … more so if William was being chased ( possibly if he was playing and trying to be Spider-Man, resulting in a fall - but I think he was a bit young for that enactment)

I did have a moment or two where I wondered if he fell out of that tree that was ‘too high mummy’ 🤨

And I can definitely see William going looking for ‘daddy’. ….was there mention of FM saying ’ look for daddy’ etc. ? But I think FF timeline has been proven, meaning he didn’t come home early and go again, so all this happened before he got home imo.

Have always been a bit intrigued about the mention of William deliberately crashing his bike into the garden ( imo a just turned 3 yr old going down that driveway would definitely crash their bike!) What time was that 🤔
Am I correct in envisioning that garden bed was Rock bordered and formed a retainer wall which had a serious drop below on other side ?

I wonder why police are focused on the balcony ?

Wasn’t the bike riding the same occasion when L was said to question the ‘red neck’ going past in green car - maybe that’s the vehicle the Crabbe’s heard - or was this a figment of FM’s imagination ?

So did the kids ride their bikes before or after breakfast ?

So many unknowns ..

The bike riding is a key I believe yes.. it's been hidden until WWT podcast. Why? The time in podcast was very first thing before breakfast so says WWT podcast. But in that podcast it said that FGM was with FM to watch them. Yet she wasn't there when FF had left. Very odd. The bike riding is being obscured I suspect. That's why I suspect it to be so important

Apparently there were drop sheets in there, that the foster grandpa used to use when he was alive.

I think the drop sheets were mentioned in the questioning of the Foster Mother at the Crime Commission.
Seriously - hadn’t he passed away 7 or so months previously ? in saying that, I understand grief takes it’s own individual time…
So were these drop sheets analysed ?

I can't explain the forgetfulness or incompatible memories, other than stress and panic can do weird things to people. If the FGM died of dementia (I read she had it) there is every chance she was NQR in 2014.

Not phoning the FF could be explained by wanting to find him first, so as not to have to admit he has gone missing under your guardianship.
I would not phone my husband until I had done a thorough search and was certain the child was actually missing. I would drive up and down the street and alert neighbors of his disappearance before I called my husband or Police. Kids hide, fall asleep or can be deep in play and not hear you or not want to be disturbed. I'm not going to phone my husband straight away and panic him only to find the child 5/10 minutes later under his bed sound asleep. Also any child could wander, you cant say for sure your child wouldn't. A child might see a bird, cat, dog etc and followed it.

So, the drop sheets. If they were found in the garage then they clearly weren't used to wrap William. In fact, if they were in the garage, and handy and not used, it indicates that William was probably not wrapped at all, since they would have been the handiest things to use. If the FM knew they were there.
So the question, "Did you know he had drop sheets in the garage?" (or similar) was possibly to test the theory about William being wrapped in something.

I don't think it's significant unless a similar drop sheet or matching paint fragments were found in the car, or at the BCR site.

I’ll recount a terrifying incident (some may have heard previously) and in so doing I respectfully ask, do you have young children ?

Yes (I did, they are not young forever). See post #3777 for my story of missing 3 year old.

Accept that. All searches are going to be different pending circumstances. If William was hiding around the house, that was a good result and didn't need urgent solving, unless you are going to ring the police straight away. William had the FGM there at the house if he suddenly revealed himself - he wasn't left alone.

FM stated that "he wouldn't hide, he's not brave enough". She made a decision to drive, based on a 2 - 5 minute period of panic. Would everyone have done the same thing - no. was it a ridiculous thing to do - no, IMO.

Glad it ended well. The lessons don't necessarily apply directly to anyone else though. All family dynamics are different and parents know better what their own kids might do in any given situation.

I'm not sure what you're saying here? No-one is suggesting he hid and was never found.

That's a good question. It seems to be universally accepted as fact, despite the dogs not being 100% accurate.

It has to be possible he wandered into number 36 and even through to number 30, then exited those properties onto the road.

So next it becomes a possibility that William was removed from the property without leaving ‘ground scent’ …. . was he carried off, was he driven off, was be carted off ? ( when was bin day ?)

The assumption has always been that he had to be driven off. To me that can't be 100% certain.

They have stated their version of what happened. The trouble is, the versions are inconsistent and full of uncertainties.

The best versions are going to be the ones they gave 10 years ago. It's natural to forget a few details under stress and add or adjust over the early days IMO. There is nothing they can say now that would help them.

100% agree. My wife did exactly what you are saying. She didn't want to worry me unnecessarily when I wasn't in a position to help immediately anyway.
