Do Geelong deserve to host every home game + home final at Kardinia Park?

Yeah no problem. I'd like for them to host every game including finals at KP. If Geelong really want to host all of their games at KP, then I don't see why they shouldn't.

They arent neutral games in melbourne. We are massively disadvantaged in melbourne due to crowd disadvantage. playing collingwood or richmond at the mcg or nth or the blues at docklands is really not much different for us to playing the eagles in perth.

Richmond supporters are big contributors to the Main Board because we're a big club with a large amount of supporters & members, thus why we contribute to threads. Not sure what that has to do with you not understanding the hypocrisy of thinking it's ok that multiple clubs have to play home games at multiple grounds (not just Richmond), but you are demanding that Geelong should have home games all at Kardinia Park.

The result tonight clearly shows why Geelong should be hosting every home game at Kardinia Park. They are the only team in the AFL that are forced to play home games outside of their home city. It's farcical.

Can we all just agree that the Cats should be playing every home game at Kardinia Park?

Where do you get this nonsense, all the MCG tenants are forced to play a home game at Marvel which is not in our home city's

9 home games is more than sufficient an advantage at such an odd ground.

Maybe all grounds should be forced to be of at least a similar shape if not size, there should certainly be some restrictions on a ground at least being an oval.

Have you read all the threads? Geelong supporter after Geelong supporter has argued for moving games away from the MCG. Do you really think we'd whinge after doing that? Away games are for the home team to organise, conversely, don't tell us where to play our homes games (including finals)

Then why does our CEO, President and Coach need to go on the record, interview after interview, pleading with the AFL to move the games down the highway? Seems like a lot of trouble for something you have deemed "easy"

Not all of them make it to every match though, not all of them even have access to GMHBA. We've got roughly 20-25k reserved seat memberships, with roughly 10-15k available for the general public to purchase

Thats fine. geelong members are spread all over the country. not even close to all the members have plans on going to every final.

the whole point of a home final is to have home support advantage. Im happy to play west coast at the mcg for a home final. But a melbourne team should definately be placyed in geelong if we are the higher ranked team.

ps. Richmond supporters didnt complain when they had to play a final at the gabba. This is no different.
