Well if you think about it, it would be pretty clever i.e. at the pulse of supporter topical issues, views, conflicts etc

If its about media clicks by a large supporter base, makes his job easy.

I doubt he bothers to post but it's entirely reasonable that he and others in the football media would read social media sites to gauge the mood of a supporter group.

The reality is between tv, radio, print and podcasts these media figures are spreading themselves way to thin when it comes to content, so browsing sites like bigfooty looking for ideas on talking points or articles wouldn't be a surprise.

As for Cornes, while I agreed with his take on Moore I knew it wouldn't take long to disagree entirely with another opinion of his.

That opinion was about McRae and how he (Cornes) seemingly has a problem with the difference in body language McRae is exhibiting since our losses started to pile up. Well, first of all as a Collingwood member can I say I'm glad Fly isn't being flippant and being captured laughing and high fiving players on the boundary with the current state of our football. His responses are entirely what you'd expect from a senior coach when their team is going through a difficult period.

Secondly I know Cornes in the past has taken issue with players smiling, laughing and being chummy with the oppostion out on the ground after a bad loss.

That's a total contradiction of opinion.
