OP’s got no idea. A win against lowly Port proves less than nothing, last time we were there our KPD’s were dominating at both ends!
Please don’t mention McGovern and Grimes in the same breath ever againGood question, Grimes or McGovern?McGovern is a better mark but Grimes is more agile.
Totally agree OP.
I think this is the best assembly of key position talent on an AFL/VFL list, ever.
Thank God Rance has done his knee and Jack has been injured for a few weeks because with them all in the same team it's doubtful we would actually lose another game for the year. The melts on this board would be epic.
You wish Socrates2, everyone know that it Brisbane that has the best KPP's.Most reasonable punters would agree that Rance is the best full back in the league and that Jack Riewoldt is the best full forward in the league. Tom Lynch is still recovering from a PCL, is second favourite for the Coleman and is yet to hit his straps. He is also the straightest kick in the league. For mine he nudges out Cameron and Franklin . Dylan Grimes was sensational on the weekend and I tend to agree with Lee Gaskin from Afl.com.au, that Grimes is no 2 to Rance in the league.Thoughts??
"Dylan Grimes is the best one-on-one defender in the competition
Tom Lynch was superb, kicking six goals, but Grimes was just as important in getting an undermanned Richmond across the line against Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday. Grimes had 17 disposals, 13 of them contested, to go with five contested marks and six rebound 50s. The 27-year-old finally received recognition last year when he was named in the 40-man All Australian squad for the first time. With Alex Rance sidelined for the year, Grimes is standing up and taking a leading role in the Tigers' defence. Grimes rarely gets beaten one-on-one and stands up when it matters the most. "- Lee Gaskin
I've stuffed my supercoach team up and moved on to more important things like doing exercise and eating salads. You wish Socrates2, everyone know that it Brisbane that has the best KPP's.
P.S. when are you coming back to the SC board, we miss you.
So have I, doesn't stop me from full-time shitposting about my SC adventures.I've stuffed my supercoach team up and moved on to more important things like doing exercise and eating salads.

Nice problem to have!Rance and Jacks injuries will only drive Grimes price up, now add on Lynchs huge paycheck and it will spell more depth leaving the Tigers, or even Grimes leaving for a team in need of a fullback.
Not gonna end well
Nice problem to have!
Lol, the players want more flags and are happy to take a pay cut if needed. Not really, Rance and Rieweoldt are nearing the end of their careers, both 30/31 by end of this year, they will hang around for a few more years but I doubt Grimes will be that patient once the big offers start coming.

I don't think Grimes would leave Richmond to chase flags at Geelong?
