Not even if you give them an extra player in each position.Last time I looked at a team sheet there was only one fullback and one full forward. So no you don’t.

Lynch is better than Cameron, he's a straighter kick, never gets suspended and doesn't go missing in games. Also he will get better as the season goes on.Would you accept that this year's Coleman medallist is the best? (Aside from Jack Riewoldt)Not even if you give them an extra player in each position.

I can see how you've got McGovern above Grimes, but Rance better than McGovern.Have to agree with Dermy here. Not only is McGovern the best defender in the league, he’s more valuable than Cripps, Martin and Fyfe plus a whole lot better looking. Brereton also goes on to put the two best forwards debate to rest, with suggesting that Kennedy and darling are the best forward combo in the comp.
Others are better regarded as pure footballers, but if we take into account the way the game is tracking, McGovern is the most valuable player in the AFL. He’s the new No.1.

Feb 2017 is a long time ago and as Dermie said, the game has changed.I can see how you've got McGovern above Grimes, but Rance better than McGovern.
Dermie saying Lynch the best--
**21 Feb 2017 HAWTHORN great Dermott Brereton believes Gold Coast co-captain Tom Lynch is the best player in the AFL. ... Indeed if he could select any player in the competition, Brereton wouldn’t pick Patrick Dangerfield, Nat Fyfe or even Lance Franklin. ... “(Lynch) is the best player in the comp ...
He's basically said the same thing and replaced Lynch with McGovern.

I'd have to disagree Riewoldt is excellent at ground level and can take a pack mark, Kennedy more one dimensional. Rance ahead of McGovern over their careers but McGovern is flavour of the month. Lynch is a colossal man and highly skilled, 199cm and he can't be beaten on a lead, and he's not fully fit.Feb 2017 is a long time ago and as Dermie said, the game has changed.
McGovern is a similar player to Rance but is a better mark and much better kick. Rance is a turnover merchant with ball in hand and the least reliable in your backline.
I’d also rate Barass above Grimes and as a combo they don’t let spuds like Jenkins or defenders like Harry Taylor kick bags on them.
Kennedy also averages more goals per game than Riewoldt and Lynch. Even last year Kennedy averaged more goals per game than Riewoldt but missed a number of games through injury.
Only darling would trail your forwards but at 191cm he punches well above his weight and is always outsized by his opponents
Quite a few of Richmond's senior players, eg Rance and Jack took pay cuts for the team last year. Not something that your senior players would contemplate in a million years. Dustin and Lynch accepted $1 to 2 million less over the life of their contracts than offered elsewhere. You see, at Richmond, it's all about the team. At Geelong, it's all about the individual.Rance and Jacks injuries will only drive Grimes price up, now add on Lynchs huge paycheck and it will spell more depth leaving the Tigers, or even Grimes leaving for a team in need of a fullback.
Not gonna end well
Lynch averages less than 2 goals a game and most of his goals are ‘joe the gooses’ 5m from goal. Him and Riewoldt have combined for one win and one loss together whereas Kennedy and Darling have won 16 games in a row all over the country as a combo.I'd have to disagree Riewoldt is excellent at ground level and can take a pack mark, Kennedy more one dimensional. Rance ahead of McGovern over their careers but McGovern is flavour of the month. Lynch is a colossal man and highly skilled, 199cm and he can't be beaten on a lead, and he's not fully fit.

Well statistics can prove anthing especially when taken from two games.I'm tellin ya ,Kennedy is an elite full forward, but the one they're all waiting for is big Tom Lynch, he's already been All-Australian at a lowly club and he's ready to explode.Lynch averages less than 2 goals a game and most of his goals are ‘joe the gooses’ 5m from goal. You’re turning it into a Richmond v Geelong shitfight. Keep your obsession to your own Geelong threadThis is a thread about Richmond. Try to keep up.
What you expect him to be and what history says are two different things. He’s got a long way to go yetWell statistics can prove anthing especially when taken from two games.I'm tellin ya ,Kennedy is an elite full forward, but the one they're all waiting for is big Tom Lynch, he's already been All-Australian at a lowly club and he's ready to explode.

If this is about Tim Kelly, how do West Coast fit him under the cap? Perhaps Elliot Yeo to Hawthorn to be with his junior football friend Jagar OmearaYou’re turning it into a Richmond v Geelong shitfight. Keep your obsession to your own Geelong thread
No shit it’s always about Geelong with youI was replying to a Geelong poster, you attention whore.
We don’t have players running around for 1.4 million a yearIf this is about Tim Kelly, how do West Coast fit him under the cap? Perhaps Elliot Yeo to Hawthorn to be with his junior football friend Jagar Omeara
Well I have said that I think they can go all the way this year, and I'm on their bandwagon. It's nice to see that you follow my posts so closely. No shit it’s always about Geelong with you
Not hard when you pollute every goddam thread with GeelongWell I have said that I think they can go all the way this year, and I'm on their bandwagon. It's nice to see that you follow my posts so closely.
It’s a growing casualty list. I tend to agree with Rance when he said that he didn’t want Lynch for the good of the club. Too many casualtiesIf anyone gets squeezed out by the cap it will be someone like Astbury, Short, Butler, Ellis ect
Yeah nah it's about winning flags though, we can replace the 2nd tier players, we have a deep list. It’s a growing casualty list. I tend to agree with Rance when he said that he didn’t want Lynch for the good of the club. Too many casualties
Yeah it’s about winning flags, that’s the point. Not gutting your premiership list for a couple of players.Yeah nah it's about winning flags though, we can replace the 2nd tier players, we have a deep list.
