4 weeks just for the sunglasses Judd was wearing, but seriously, good to see Lloyd, Brown, Malthouse etc sticking it to him.

Lol geez Lynchy doesnt think when he speaks sometimes.
On the Judd Chickenwing:

"Judd is one of the highest regarded players in the competition. It was something very out of character for Juddy, we've seen it a few times from him"

Well you'd think if its happened a few times its not exactly out of character wouldn't you?

Gained a bit of respect for Lloyd in that last video.

Shane basically telling everyone 'if Juddy said it it must be true' and Lloyd turns around and says no, I wont.

Shane: So you're calling Judd a liar.
Lloyd: Yes.

Glad someone said it.

I hate that f***wit Grant Thomas even more than normal after watching footy classified tonight.

Footy Classified:

===========================
Grant Thomas: Whats wrong with that? You're allowed to do that surely? Whats he done wrong?
Caro: What other reason would someone have doing that other than to seriously hurt someone (puzzled that grant is arguing it)

===========================

Hutchy and Gary: I hope that Judd doesn't use the handball defense because its complete rubbish and he's already tarnished his reputation enough

===========================

Gary: Leigh Adams wasnt questioned after the game by the broadcaster Channel 7 who apparently missed it.

===========================

Hutchy: Not defending him, he should get suspended, and he will get weeks, but what do you classify it under, its ambiguous under AFL rules.
Grant Thomas: he shouldnt get suspended, what for, noone got hurt. Sure, the AFL should set a precedent but Juddy shouldnt have to cop a wrap.

not only should judd get an extended suspension, he should be taken to court for assault and causing harm, not only is that a reportable offence, it is a criminal one too

BANG

MATCH Review Panel chairman Mark Fraser has labelled Chris Judd's misconduct offence against North Melbourne's Leigh Adams 'unsportsmanlike.'

The MRP referred Judd's offence directly to the tribunal after considering whether to grade it as rough conduct or misconduct.

"We had a discussion amongst the panel about whether it was rough conduct or misconduct and we decided this would probably be best served under misconduct," Fraser told AFL.com.au.

"We thought it was unsportsmanlike in nature. It has the potential to bring the game into disrepute so we thought it would be better served by sending it straight to the tribunal for a verdict."

Fraser said the MRP seriously considered grading Judd's report but said its unique nature meant it was more appropriate to refer it directly to the tribunal.

"We certainly did (consider grading it) but we thought this wasn't conduct that was covered under the table of offences particularly well so there are other acts of misconduct in the table such as stomping or pinching and spitting," he said.

Adams was forced to leave the ground with a shoulder injury after Judd pulled at his arm. He returned shortly after but re-injured the shoulder later in the game.

Fraser said North Melbourne's medical report played some part in determining the severity of the case.
"Obviously the medical we take into consideration. In this case there has been an exacerbation of an injury and he did have to go from the ground and get treated by the medical staff," he said.

"We thought there was enough force in there for something to be done about it."

"Judd's case was sent directly to the tribunal for adjudication tonight, with the Carlton captain only the fifth player to be dealt with in this manner for an offence against an opponent since the tribunal system overhaul in 2005. The four players who preceded him - Port Adelaide's Byron Pickett, St Kilda's Steven Baker, Sydney's Barry Hall and Fremantle's Dean Solomon - were suspended for, on average, seven matches. Pickett's six-match stint for rough conduct against Adelaide's James Begley in early 2006 was the most lenient."

Goneeeeeee.

MacMillan should be praised for being the one to actually deck him.
Yep. Couldn't like this comment more. JMac was brutal in his response. Loved it.
He's not getting much, or enough, of the ball, but that response, coupled with his obvious leadership qualities on the ground, means he stays in the side week to week. Well done to spitts and taz also. Big love.
