Dog act Judd - how many weeks?

Interestingly Judd was the first one in to remonstrate with Jack after his hit on Joseph.
Glass houses Juddy?
And the best bit about this was JAck gesturing to Judd to have a go - the best thing I have seen from a Roo in a long time.
The boy is not scared of anything or anyone

Wonder what Patch is thinking.....

I hope the club gives the MRP a damning report.

Another one here who loved your boy's reaction..:thumbsu:

Look at The Squib sitting out there doing nothing. When Captain Dog is flicked over by a few of our guys he decided to make a stand, and what a pissweak stand it was.

Bryce Gibbs is the softest player in the AFL, no doubt about it.

Agree with most, absolute shit dog act.. pissweak of the commentators who couldnt bear saying something remotely negative towards Juddy.
Cant believe all they kept saying was "Yer it was quite strange.."

Would not object the NMFC docs to slightly exaggerate the medico report to ensure Judd does get weeks? But a popped shoulder should still be condemning enough surely.

Nup. Thats a dog act too. Judd will be spending at least 2 weeks on the sidelines for it anyway. He is rooted this time!

Leaving the result to one side (Go Roos!!!), so far the Sniper is ahead. Thanks to the umpire's patheticality, he got the free and we got the injured player.

Let's see how it pans out with (1) all the lies and BS he's about to spout and (2) the AFL's unwillingness to hit its tall poppies with appropriate penalties.

Different rules for different players.

Surely you could have gotten one of your lesser needed players (kind way of saying "spud") to come and clean Judd up? Absolute dog act and it would have been nice to see some retribution.
when something like that happens in an essendon game ill expect gumbleton, monfries, hille, mcveigh, hibberd, pears and reimers to all remonstrate (lesser needed players). At north were more professional than that, not worth getting one of our own suspended

It's hard to watch. Shoulder dislocations are so ****ing painful, don't want to imagine how much it must've hurt having someone yank on your arm like that. Patch is such a fair player and he cops that shit from a bloke who has history, if judd gets any less than 4 weeks it'll be beyond a joke.

Remains to be seen. But in the end it doesn't matter. The MRP needs to set a strong precedent here, you just cannot get away with shit like that. The penalty needs to be severe so that we never see anything like it again.

Hahaha! You really think the MRP wont look at the medical report!

Come on now, I believe as much as anyone that what Judd did was a dog act, but if you give them the slightest reason to let Judd off (with a favorable medical report) he won't get a week.

That was disgraceful from Judd. Why would you want to deliberately injure a opposition player like that when in motion he knew exactly what he was doing? Focus on the ball not the man. Ironically he was very very good for the Blues tonight, but that kinda crap is just not on. Should cop whatever is coming his way for that. He has let his team down.

Think about it pressure points, the elbow to Pav and this - he loves doing stuff to people that cannot defend themselves. I would prefer it if he punched him in the moosh

He will most likely get away with it.

Not saying he should (it was a very cowardly and dangerous thing to do) but history suggests he is a protected species - the fact he even got a free for being pushed says everything really.

Do you guys want him suspended or does it suit you to have a strong Carlton in the immediate run home ? I haven't checked the draw yet but relying on medical reports from clubs when things are tight for finals could be a bit interesting? What do you reckon ? I hope he gets six.

Carlton defence is that Judd was merely trying to hold Adams' right arm so he couldn't get a handball out.

It was just so obvious that i think this defense may work. Judd seemed genuinely surprised by the roos players reaction.

We should have dropped him.

bruce visibly distraught at the thought that juddy may get a rap.

Then he goes and lags Jack in on the spot.

I think the question we need to ask is, does Judd have a contract with channel 7

My daughter said she heard Judd was going to be on the 6 o'clock news On seven explaining his actions, I suppose he has to try and grab a bit of sympathy from his mates at the MRP.

Because this is not the first time Judd has done something deliberate to try and permanently injure someone, I reckon he should go at least 7 weeks. While a great footballer he must have a screw loose somewhere. He has no reason to do this sort of crap. He is not just trying to hurt people but permanently injure them - potentially end their football career. Remember the attempt he made at eye-gouging Rischitelli. It was not just one poke but several obviously aimed at trying to take out his eye. Now this, using jui-jitsu moves not to just hurt a shoulder but literally rip ligaments and smash the shoulder joint. I wonder whats next on the agenda - throat strikes? temple kicks? What he has done is just plain wrong. He needs to be taught a big big lesson.

Surely that's not permitted. If that happens, the AFL surely has to take action. Or will the AFL close it's eyes & congratulate Judd for getting on the front foot?

Excellent question OS. Probably another ridiculous third party deal. Ken Wood (aka Ken Yes) would have gone over it with a fine tooth comb before approving it.

There was article in the HUN on Thursday or Friday - an obvious plant by the AFL - where everyone is quoted as saying how tough he is. LOL.
