Most under 12 sides don't have 2 super competitive alpha dogs thinking that every ball coming towards them is their birthright to mark.Listening to Naughton talking about not all flying at the ball does my head in....isn't that under 12s football common sense?
True, but why has it taken so many years to finally coach the fwds how to not spoil each other? Most under 12 sides don't have 2 super competitive alpha dogs thinking that every ball coming towards them is their birthright to mark.
indicates awareness and gives me cause for optimismListening to Naughton talking about not all flying at the balldoes my head in....isn't that under 12s football common sense?
We've seen stints where they were as organised as they were tonight. It tends not to last for the reason Ive mentioned. We also have to take into account our dominance out of the centre, our avalanche of forward entries and the general undersizedness of Richmond's defence tonight.True, but why has it taken so many years to finally coach the fwds how to not spoil each other?
Happy for them to have finally figured things out, lets hope hope they can keep it up against a good team.
Yeah to an extent, I mean a lot of people have been pushing for it. It’s a no brainer but yes good on him for pulling that lever I guess. Half forward last week was yuck though, he’s a centre square midfielder only. I don’t see an issue with him rotating off half back into the midfield. You don’t HAVE to play half forward to be a midfield rotation. Id love to see a 50/50 split half back midfield as Sanders/Lib come backI’m off Bev as much as anyone but you gotta give him credit for the Richards move…
With this performance tonight I will be buying grand final tickets, see you all in September.
He almost won us the game last week going forward at the end I thought. Wish we had more of him.Yeah to an extent, I mean a lot of people have been pushing for it. My kids were hoping to surpass our previous record of 115 didn't quite get there. Good win but no pressure from Tigers so can't read too .much into the winFeels rude to say, but even in this huge win, I feel disappointed at the end. Wanted that 100!

Can’t believe it seemed like a revelation to them that this might help.Good to hear Naughton mention not flying for the same ball as forwards post game.
