I got him at 500-1 before the seasonIn all seriousness though gentlemen, is JJ currently leading the brownlow? Arguably BOG both games.

Billings above over 3qtrs of our team?Gotta disagree with that
Billings above over 3qtrs of our team?
Statistical analysis is useless without the proper interpretation. Also yes, Billings was nothing special and Hickey, while he wasn't embarressed, was outplayed around the ground by Roughead.
Liam Jones got double teamed all the time and he is/was not very good.Possibly, I feel though that everyone needs to stop overreacting when he does well and when he doesn't go so well.
There was improvement last night, people should just be happy with that.
And also just watching the game and seeing 2 St Kilda defenders gang up on him (and Freo were doing the same) - it should also make us happy we've got a young KPP forward that opposition sides genuinely are fearful of.
Same sentence. No. Liam jones. Tom boyd. Bang head. On deskLiam Jones got double teamed all the time and he is/was not very good.
Unfortunately he was concussed after his head hit the roof on the way up.Wish Picks had have taken that screamer ! He was up higher than the Eureka Tower !
Went missing still in Adelaide by all report doesn't like people saying he is better the BontDid Billings play???
Definitely!Made all the more impressive by the fact that both games were played in perfect conditions at Etihad
I just put 20 on him at the same odds about an hour ago.I got him at 500-1 before the season
Suprised hes still at 500. Would think hed be anywhere from 4-6 votes at the present timeI just put 20 on him at the same odds about an hour ago.
Koby is a gun and so important to our side. Gives us some grunt and muscle and importantly fills that in between age gap that we don't have many of.Normally like typing up a good essay after these sorts of wins, but Assignments have a hold on me
That Champion Data link above tells me something tremendous. Wood and Dunkley are down in the lower scores there but by no means had bad games. Wood on a usual stellar day is up there but was a tad off early; still put in the regulation saving intercepts. And Dunkley exhibited ridiculous marking ability today.
JJ's intercept had me frothed too
But theirs one player I'd just like to take my hat off tonight
Koby Stevens is tonights unsung hero for mine. Was tremendous
Some games he plays a standout but on nights like tonight, talk about Macrae going about his business, the Shark was all about doing it quietly.
What he brings to the team I believe can't be questioned, in my opinion his top rate work would be up in best 10 players at some other clubs but we have so many outstanding players that he's probably around 10-15+, but boy do I appreciate it.
His stoppage work is up to the high standard our team is going with, But one particular vision from a replay was telling; He plays the excellent role where any of our capable players have gone in for the initial hardball but on the occasion it spills out, he readily goes in hard for the second scrap and gets it out to other waiting players. Also easily capable of being the first to go in, Did everything else well tonight
Keep at it Koby, setting the standard for the players outside the best 15
For sure, but the good thing is there is pressure for spots. Roughy deserves to hold his spot. I'm not one of those over playing a VFL result against a depleted Werribee and relating that to to changing the senior team. Dale was excellent with 7 goals, but does that mean he's a walk up next week? I don't think so. Not sure who's spot he takes, perhaps Dunks, but then he did little wrong. Unless there is an injury or niggle I'm not sure we change much. Gee there have been Doubts on Wally and Macrea's performance in the last 2 weeks, which I find astounding. Each to their opinion I guess.Good they did well in the VFL but neither have produced the standard of Roughy in the last two games at AFL level that I can remember in the last couple of years ...... not often anyway. Maybe Willy in the final v Adelaide.
What was the average ages and games played for both sides last night?
i've thought about this too. Kerr has 4 defenders in his death line up (Green, Thompson, Barnes and Iggy) who can switch on all positions, which means their transitions are smooth as hell. Our backline is extremely switchable too with aerial athletes like Adams, Wood, Morris and Biggs. If I could ask the drink 1 question, it would be whether he's studied the golden state warriors. That might seem self indulgent, and apologies to those non NBA folk out there, but the similarities are incredible.
Small ball defence, switch everything, embrace mismatches at both ends, run, attack, play your game at all costs.
Yes, the Ws can get chewed up by a monster ever now and then (as we will from time to time no doubt), but teams trying to outside the Warriors has played into their hands for 2 seasons now. I hope the dogs have a similar run.
