Pretty hard to regularly on the back foot and not hitting up at the ball or working forward. Darcy has been showing them how to do itNeither of Naughton and JUH have had much of a sniff.
Can someone also teach Derm, Dwayne and Johnno what the holding the ball rule is? I don’t agree with a lot of the prior opportunity interpretations, but at least I still know them.I sincerely wish that Brereton gets a severe case of laryngitis. Doesn't he just go on and on and on in that conceited, complacent, patronising way of his.
He'd give diarrhoea the shits!
Peope are not seriously suggesting that Moyle is outplaying English?
It looks ugly physically but what impact is Moyle actually having? None of his physical work has lead to clean clearance breaks for the Suns and he's going to tire himself out physically.
English has more total effective touches (6 to 5), 150 to 60 metres gained and clearances are 21-20 for us total.
With Coffield out we’ll need to bring someone in no matter what. Preferably JOD but if he’s not right then Keath I guess. We need JOD back ASAP, or okay Keath. Buku needs to be released to fly for grabs and support the defence.
How good would it be to have another small forward alongside Weightman?
TBF, it's hard to beat a rug and a good bookHe just has zero competitive spirit in him. It’s amazing he’s got as far as he has in his career. He looks as though he just wants to get home and rug up with a good book.
Hard to detect on the internet after all the shit he copped last week with the mismatchSarcasm
5 English tackles to 0 from Moyle tooPeope are not seriously suggesting that Moyle is outplaying English?

So our million dollar ruckman is slightly above breaking even with a back up on probably 300k, brilliantPeope are not seriously suggesting that Moyle is outplaying English?

Moyle literally kicked out on the full that led directly to a set shot goal from one of them. English isn't obviously outplaying Moyle, but he's presumably putting up enough of a fight in allowing himself physically to ensure Moyle isn't clean/clear.Strange one isn’t it.
Early in that quarter Marra had his opponent burnt, West running directly at him on the boundary and Marra turns around to double back to the goal square and wests kick goes out in front and is chopped off.Pretty hard to regularly on the back foot and not hitting up at the ball or working forward. But this game proves physicality is overrated. It looks ugly but it's actual relevancy to team success is surely far less than suggested by many on hereSo our million dollar ruckman is slightly above breaking even with a back up on probably 300k, brilliant
I don’t think English has been too bad today but it’s clear he will never grow any sort of physicality to his game, so he really needs to dominate the other aspects of his game
Some times sure, i agree its not really the defining factor in todays game. Absolutely it has been in the past thoughBut this game proves physicality is overrated. It looks ugly but it's actual relevancy to team success is surely far less than suggested by many on here
With Coffield going down we are so fortunate he decided to stick with usYep - bit shaky by foot and slow decision making. But this isn’t something which hampers him in the VFL so I’m pretty confident it’s just a matter of him getting comfortable at the level and confident in his spot in the team.
Reckon we could see a pretty special transformation over the next few months
