From an English point of view a lot of these somewhat poorly written posts are by 15 year old kids from the sub continent. I wonder how many of us spoke two languages at that age.

English aside, the attitude is annoyingly demanding though. This has the potential to be the first ever really good cricket game. It's amazing it'll have taken until now just to play good cricket games out of the box, like test matches that last 5 days even with draws and players with different heights and builds. We don't know it'll be good but gee Ross is confident.

I asked him to compare all of the BA games and he said:

RL << AFL < RL2 <<<< Cricket

Arrogant? Over-confident? Correct? I hope so!

Fair call. They speak English better than a lot of people on this forum, and English is our first language.

Anyway, that's off-topic. Unfortunately the big release of the cover player and a new Cricket Academy update has been delayed til next week as it requires everything to be signed off on. I suppose this is understandable. This game was initially going to be self-published and it was Ross running the show entirely but now there are publishers and licensors to deal with. Apparently this won't affect the release of the game though.

So it's gotta be a September release surely. Ross initially said "before October", and has been firm on not releasing the release date just yet apart from saying it won't ship this month. That points me towards late September, odd time to release in Oz considering the footy finals but it is releasing in other countries too.

It has also said that it won't be shipping in August so September seems likely.

The feature including different filters to play the game through is fantastic.. the old ricky ponting/brian lara classic matches were great with black and white making it all the more authentic...
Those NZ-Aus 80's screenies are fantastic..

How many times is this question going to be asked....

1) Yes, there are some licences but they are not released yet and almost certainly not international teams
2) Go look up Cricket Academy and you will see that you can already create, edit, download and share any team and player you want. All international and domestic teams, including IPL and Big Bash, have already been created by the community.
