It's not a case of the publisher saying "let's get Tendulkar". Somethings aren't possible.
Let's think about the competition, specifically, Ashes 2013. Bradman 14 beats Ashes 13 everywhere but say England, where Cook on the cover is an appeal.

Anyone that has a passing interest in cricket knows who Bradman is. The vast majority would also know that he is the greatest player of all time. Most would know the 99.94 batting average stuff. No matter where you come from, you understand that greatness is associated with the Bradman name. It would be the same as calling a basketball game Michael Jordans bball, or a baseball game Babe Ruth's baseball.
The Indians maybe crazy when it comes to cricket but they do know their stuff and Bradman is revered there as he is here.
Iam amazed that Ross is so confident he has done the name justice though...that in itself is exciting

A lot of people are forgetting how nutty people on here got with AFL Live too. People were threatening to not buy the game because Ablett wears his socks up.
Hopefully there is someone committed enough to create all the AFL teams in the game 
It does look pretty decent from the short clip I saw. I was impressed with the graphics and animations.

Yeah I agree they are well and truly missing a trick not putting Sachin or Dhoni on the cover...Indian's favourite conversation around the water cooler/slurry hole is debating whether or not Sachin is better than Bradman (even though the likes of Sangakarrra and Karris average more).
The second an official product associated with Sachin hits the shelf money comes rolling in - why do you think they refuse to from him from the test side?

They really aren't. Every Indian cricket fan knows who Bradman is.

On an extremely slow day at work i made team kits for all the AFL teams. Got about 8 players through Adelaide before i gave up on making the players though. Not sure about now, but last time i checked you can't upload teams with no players.Hopefully there is someone committed enough to create all the AFL teams in the game

Well there is literally 50 times more Indians than Australians, would make sense to cater for the bigger market. Maybe they will.

Doesnt matter if it was Tendulkar or the entire indian team on the cover, it still wouldnt sell well in India.
They all buy pirated copies there and it is hard to actually buy legal ones.
Its alot more expensive to buy legal copies plus the hassle of actually finding them makes them more than happy to keep buying pirated versions.
If BigAnt are smart they will make the online sharing section require some kind of serial key or exe check to force people to get original copies or miss out on that great feature.
They all buy pirated copies there and it is hard to actually buy legal ones.
