Going to wait until the patch to get back into career mode, so just playing a few casual matches now.
Review system is giving me a little bit of grief - on a couple of occasions the decision should clearly have been overturned but wasn't.

Grrr.

Got given out caught trying to flick a ball down the leg side. I went to challenge but the ******* 3rd ump reviewed for an lbw, not the edge. As I went to challenge I thought "this is so awesome how I can do this is, maybe its no so bad after all". Turns out there was no edge and it was missing the stumps. Still given out.

Sure, having DRS in the game is a good idea, but at least make sure it works properly FFS.

Game has more issues than Readers Digest.

Actually if people have seen the video of the Adelaide local T20 match where the ball was smashed back at the bowler, hit him in the head, skied up into the air and was caught by the wicketkeeper, I was at that game and saw the whole thing. The bowler is a mate of mine.

Had high hopes for this thing but have been left slightly disappointed. Customization options and different modes are orsm but the bugs are a complete headf*ck. The patches will definitely be welcome.

Something Ive noticed it that every time I bowl to the AI they eventually collapse like a deck of cards. They usually put on a half decent stand with the first 2-3 bats, but then without fail they collapse until their number 9 or 10 comes in. I've tested it in different formats and on different difficulties and it ALWAYS happens. Seems so scripted.

Played the all time best Windies tonight in a one dayer on legendary, they were 1-40 then sure enough on cue they collapse to 73 all out.

Definitely has some balancing issues.
This feels like Deja Vu. But Miqar_Baqfhied can you please not come back? You were banned for a reason...
Any idea on when these patches are expected?

Have shelved the game for now.
Hopefully this week, but no guarantees. The public holidays are a pain, next week should be at worst.

Pretty good first season for my 16 year old aspiring Zimbabwean all-rounder playing for Warwickshire.

29 wickets at 4 and a batting average of 21 in T20s. Best of 9/6

28 wickets at 9 in the 50 over comp. Best of 5/27

60 wickets at 9 as well as 506 runs at a touch over 18 in First Class matches. Best of 7/7 and two fifties; 59 and 52. Finished the season with a couple of 40's and a five-for to flog the top team.

What a start to season two though. Walk out at 6/120 and proceed to play a brutal yet controlled innings. 10 fours and 3 sixes later I'm on 95 off 75 balls. Right arm quick coming around the wicket drops one short and, despite knowing there's two guys on the leg side boundary, I think "**** it" and cream a 98m hook shot straight over the man at deep backward square to bring up my first tonne!! Hit another six in similar fashion before giving it away to man on the midwicket boundary for 110.

Seems as though this 17 years efforts and starting to gain some pretty close attention too!

3 seasons in still can't score more than 30 odd as a batsman. I block around 30 balls before trying to score. Soon as i try to get some runs i either play on and get bowled or caught and bowled by a miracle catch. Yet the last 3 innings in county games i have 8,5 & 9 wickets! I am well and truly bowling more than batting, Can i get selected for my bowling as i am leading the league in wickets!

From what he said though, balancing does seem to be an issue..... is it a bug or will it be fixed etc?

There's no collapsing mechanic or scripting occurring, that's a 100% definite fallacy.

We're still awaiting more feedback on the difficulties of both bowling and batting before balancing comes in, the first patch will change things up in terms of balance again.

There does seem to be a disparity happening between how people are finding bowling and batting, which will be looked at for the 2nd patch. There was always going to be room for tweaking the difficulties, but we thought it'd be more about making batting harder than bowling harder in all honesty.

Ah righto then.

I might pick this up, I'm not sure, kind of undecided. Is it coming to PS4?

I think ozgameshop have it for $69. JB has it for $89 and the rip off that is EB have it for $99

To be fair to EB Games, I did get it for free by trading games in. Apparently GTA IV is worth $7.50 and AFL Live 2 is worth $24.70. :drunk:

Really was worth it though.

After a good 4 seasons of career mode I was finally starting to get the hang of batting, somehow found myself on 99 NO in a first class game for the Vics, pushed it out to mid-off for what I thought would be a easy single to get to my long awaited tonne...I barely got halfway down the pitch only for the ball to cannon into the stumps like a laser-guided missile.

Needless to say the Xbox went flying out the window

This isnt a gripe at the game or anything, just shows how you always have to be on your toes, just like in real cricket.
