Could see all 6 being delisted. Maybe keep Trengove. Would make a great sanfl captain if he’s delisted. That would mean those 6 plus toump, irra, Thomas, polec gone and potentially hombsch and Amon. 12 players is another huge turnover.
I'd keep Ladhams on the Rookie List for another year, purely due to our shallow ruck depth. I think Trengove has done enough to be given one more year. And I wouldn't be surprised if Neade is demoted to the rookie list.

If Hombsch, Amon and Neade are all out, along with the expected additional delistings I'd be ok with keeping Trengove and McKenzie another year. Though I'd like Monty to say he wants to turn McKenzie into a HFF able to kick over a congested backline, rather than left as a sub-par Half back flanker / undersized KPD.

One of Hartlett, McKenzie or Broadbent (if he’s not completely dead) needs to be in charge of this.

I'm ok with Trengove rounding out the list but McKenzie staying on would be a surprise.
I've got McKenzie being delisted, but the only reasons I could think of for him staying is,

1. Hombsch being traded and we might not find an AFL player that is 20-25 year old to replace him.

2. He had on and off injuries after a good first month (and then got destroyed in his only AFL game) and maybe the club thinks he'll be better next year.

Or we go for a roll of the dice and play him as a HFF

No way Ladhams stays. We will get lycett, they’ve talked up how much they love Hayes already and then you have frampton.

Got the feeling that Bassett still sees potential in him from what he said.

McKenzie might stay another year on our list … for the following reasons .. (1) the 18m forward / back square .. if he gets onto 1 long 60m kick then the ball could land 80m - 90m into the forward line

(2) as you said it will depend on what happens with Hombsch

Any reason the mainboard has stated many players have been delisted? Missed that....

Any chance we take Bell (ex Brisbane and Carlton) with our last pick or wait from the PSD?
I think his size and professionalism would be great if we lose the mature players bought in from other clubs.

I don't see how Bell fits in at Port.
If we bring in ready made players they've got to be first 22 from the start.
I think his best is best 22. Good contested ball, good engine, good overhead.
He would be cheap as chips in terms of salary and draft cost. Injuries have cost his past couple of years, but if he could get some help getting his body right I think he would be a good fit?

I want us to re stock our list with genuine mids in this draft as our only mids under 23 are atley spp with maybe drew who we have barely seen.

I think it’s a pretty good year to do it as well.

Duursma Caldwell Rowbottom sparrow Lewis McKenzie kennerly all interest me. A Rankine or hately + some of these guys.

How do people see these guys? Macca19 ?

He did it all in the first month of the season. Then we rarely saw it.

With a defence coach hellbent on short kicking, I guess it's no surprise.

I think we will look to move up with pick 10 and 11. I know Ken said we wouldn't, but the fact is it is his not his call.

If Gold Coast end up with Brisbane's first pick (which may happen as part of the May, Hogan, Neale swap - and will likely be pick 5), I believe they will be amenable to trading that out given they have 2 and 3 already. Assuming we offer pick 10 and 11 and perhaps something back from GC in the second round i would be happy with that.

Macca19 can probably better validate this, but i think with pick 5 we will end up with one of Smith, Rankine or Rozee. All of which are going to be very good players.

My preference is Rankine. Bailey Smith is a gun but seems more inside.
