So that sounds to me like the Saints would only give up pick 4 if Adelaide can get some sort of pick swap worked out with Gold Coast for pick 6.

Saints slide to 6, not as far as 8, and get some extra first rounders as compo.

Not sure how such a trade actually looks.

Still think the Crows would be insane to sell the farm in such a deal.

I expect Hately to be gone at 10, but there's a good chance Ben King could last until then. Unless St Kilda really go all in and trade their 2019 first rounder for a pick between 6 and 9.

I reckon it works out like crows give up 8 13 and 21

Saints get 6 and 13
Suns get 8 and 21
Crows get 4.

Crows then get either rankine or Roezee and the saints are assured either max king or Smith at 6 plus have 13. The question then is do we go for Smith for king at 5

Maybe, I'm not sure those trades would be enough for StK or GC, and the Crows wont want to give up more than that. Probably would have to be the Crows 8, 13 and 16. Which is a MASSIVE price to pay and would be fantastic for us as it would take them out of calculations for the rest of our picks.

Maybe it'll happen, but I can't see why these teams would want to do these sorts of deals just yet. Suns in particular, getting more picks this year is of no interest to them.

Im not a big fan of Valente so i wouldnt be too keen on picking him at 15

Agreed, those deals are not even nearly enough for those sort of pick downgrades.
