Am I the only one that thinks Rankine is a selfish player. Just watched his highlights, and he's ******* around with the ball. He took a shot on goal on two opponents, when he could have dished it off to a free player. He intercepted his team mate in a marking contest, and he avoided the first option to do some flashy shit on two opponents only to then dish off. This guy has Wingard written all over him.

I don’t get that impression watching him, maybe it’s more so he knows how good he is and backs him self in... very easy to misread for being selfish, fair to say he is a cut above the competition at U18 level. Like his confidence, but if there is selfishness it won’t last long at AFL level.

There can sometimes be a very fine line between being selfish and knowing how good you are and backing yourself in.

I think he is quicker and moves better than brad but his kicking looks like brads. I was told he is a good kick. He doesn’t hit a single target in his highlights. No touch by foot is brad Ebert-like.


I’m pretty well stumped who we take at 15 after hately and Caldwell are gone it seems very much like the next group are very hard to separate and I have no read on what these guys can become.

Nah. It's Ports 2015-2018 to reach at 5 for a player we'd have a good chance at getting at 10, in order to miss the best talent.
