I would be quite happy if they throw the kitchen sink at it to get above us. We will still get one of Rankine, Rozee, Smith with our top pick

I'm not 100% convinced we will go for an SA talent. Sure there's a much greater chance this year but Port have never used whether someone comes from SA as a tie-breaker. If things don't pan out and the best at the time is from another state I'm convinced that'll be who Port will take.

We have positioned ourselves to trump any attempt the Cows might make to get up the list. Even if they offered 8, 13 and 16 for a top 4 pick, 5 and 15 trumps it.

You really have to be in the top 7 (Lukosius, Rozee, Smith, Rankine, King I, King II, Walsh) to have the currency for a top 4 pick.
