my reading of this proposed pick swap is that if we get Max King, we would be hoping like mad Ben King slips to 8 so we get both twins. But I just can't see how that benefits us going forward more than securing one of the top SA lads like Luko or Rankine and then getting topline midfielders with our remaining picks?

The crows will take pick 8, 13, 16 and 21 to the draft, shocker i know. The time for draft exchanges was the trade period. Get the 4 best players as long as they contain 3 aspects. 1. pace 2. sound decision making under pressure 3. good disposal. If they have some mongrel that's the icing on the cake.

I learnt some stuff. Even better that Roo didn't spoil the interview like he normaly does. Generally him and dicks get good guests to open up and share real knowledge and then roo starts making jokes

Even though I really rate Max King as a forward that's a premium price to pay for a bloke that's had an ACL already that was reported to be more than just a standard ACL. I really doubt this 'rumour' personally.

This will cause a bit of short term salt, and perhaps be the catalyst for port supporters 4th consecutive tilt at a march/april flag.

Pick only trades for first round picks (where neither club then on trades those picks for players) are extremely rare

Media reports are suggesting that there are unlikely to be any pick swaps in the first round, and there's virtually no chance of pick swaps in the top-10.

They do, however, think there may be pick swaps in the later rounds.
