I think there was one paid just last week, not in our game though.

We were lucky to get any points out of that game.

I'd like to say the side will take a lot of belief out of that finish but it really seemed like we showed up right at the start and end of that game - as Collingwood's mistakes were punished with quick ball movement to score.

There will be a lot of "if onlys" after a game like that.

There were times Serong looked exhausted, Amiss couldn't get into the game. Some really painful handballs.
Was vomiting in the back pocket late in the fourth, sick perhaps

No he has a healthy confidence about him that rubs off onto the squad.

Without being arrogant.

Would be a total pain at a dinner party. Always the cleverest guy in the room.
I would hate to see him being arrogant if currently he isn’t.

He’s a cult leader.

I hate him.

Releived to take something from that. Didn't deserve to lose - and neither did Collingwood really.

A couple BS goals each way but a lot of throws, drops, prior opportunity cases missed (not all against us either). Felt they had the rub of the green tonight - especially early. Felt a bit more even in the second half.

We will (hopefully) take a lot from that game and get a nice recovery time before playing the Dees.

Long live Walyalup! Undefeated again.

Darcy is underdone. Needs 2/3 weeks and will be back to normal.
Jackson was really poor.
Ryan was a little off with disposal. Missed a few easy kicks & a few dumb moments. Blondes..

Johnson frustrates the hell out of me. Missed so many easy handball targets and never gives first option. Could be anything I reckon, just has some big work ons.

Walters needs JLo to drop him. It’s sad now. Let him work back in.

Emmett isn’t good enough atm either. Had some really poor decision making moments. Can’t tell me Sturt or Simpson can’t offer more.

Amiss needs to reset the routine a bit. He will be fine. His 2 shots were difficult.
Sorry to stalk your board but I, like 90% of followers, was barracking for you 😭.
Have to disagree on Amiss. I had heard he was having problems and knew he used to be a real deadeye so I watched him really carefully. In his first attempt his lips were trembling and his hands shaking. In his second attempt the shot was from behind him and his run in was short stepped and all over the place with no power in legs or hips. IMO his confidence is generally shot and it's needing more than remedial work on his routine. By all accounts he's a good kid and had a great year last year and with Treacy coming on you're only one tall forward short of the set (not counting Jackson) so it would be a shame if it doesn't get sorted tout suite.
If you didn't know Heeney and Hayward had bouts last year too.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

the other highlight for me was watching the Collingwood supporter in our section being ejected from the ground - so Collingwood

it was also "nice" when neither team buried their heads in their hands and gathered together at the end of the game - that was great sportsmanship

Heeney is one of my all time favourite players (my fave opposition player) and you are correct.

I remember Serong had a break out first year, but his second year he slumped a bit. We keep forgetting he is only a year older than Harley Reid and he has so much pressure on him this year. I agree with JLo when he said that too many people are getting in his ear and confusing him.

One day it's just going to click,

Amiss with 0 marks, 0 tackles and 0 kicks after quarter time

Yet we continue to burn Treacy going forward. Amiss is still a good field kick, get him up the ground and get him involved, these stats are just embarrassing now

Man I’m watching Craig McRae’s presser and jeez talk about corny shit

It was a genuine question. I didn’t have him as close to best on ground against the dogs.

Walters 16 possessions and 1 goal. (Best on?)

Treacy 12 and 3 goals
Jackson 15 and 2.2
Banfield 22 and 3.1
Serong 37
Fyfe 37 and 1.1

Are you being rude for any particular reason?
They were talking about Fyfe, not Walters. They were saying Fyfe was bog against the dogs.

Never cheered on a Fremantle game in my life but tonight I did, f**k those cheating maggots that have been looking after all the vic teams in close games for years, everytime you blokes had momentum they plucked a soft free against.

Was so beautiful seeing a dubious free in front of goal being paid the other way for once and their feral supporters having a whinge and getting a taste of what the interstate supporters are so used to feeling.
I recall another dubious one not paid in 2018. ;)

ABC Sport interviewer quoting Quaynor after the game saying he didn't touch the ball on Banfield's 3rd goal, although he claimed he did during the game. I think he's saying he's not a liar but he's ok with being a cheat.

Honestly he's so real for admitting that. We know all players do it. Also shuts up the collingwood fans who kept insisting it was touched.

Collingwood did their work on Hayden Young too, constantly blocking his run out of everything, denying him that corridor space to swing onto the left.

Trampled his influence.
Demons will take note of this too.

In a way I think Hayden young is similar to Jason Horne Francis. Both blokes can play inside and outside mid.

Both blokes are decent on either foot
