Spurr and Horsely 4th on interchange... not liking those odds for green vest.
So hope Gold Coast don't stuff up Horsely Mooing ability because of the green vest.
100 followed by a 25 is only 1 good price rise if he doesn't perform game 3.
The other one is Neale, Scored ok given limited TOG with 2 green vest games. Surely Spurr will vest it up this week and he will get a full game.
Wouldn't mind seeing Neale get vested again actually. He's barely gone up, means we can wait another week before bringing him in.
Third game this week but with BE of 21 (FF) then I would imagine only a small price rise so still a viable option for game 4 as the 17 rolls out his system. Still a rookie getting 26 in a quarter is pretty good. (even with the sub inflation)
It would be better if horsley gets the vest this week than getting it next week, might lower his chances of being rested sooner too!
It is very dependent on Neale being sub or not. On the evidence we have, he could very well top 80
If GC know what's good for them they'll keep the green vest away from Kyal, surely. That would just defy all logic.

Hopefully Luke Russell starts sub like last week.
What possible reason would there be for Horsely to get the vest?
Played pure midfield and was in their best 3 players last week, not like there's any mids come back this week with Risca and GAJ still out.

reading through this thread it is interesting to note that there was not much love for Horsley in the preseason...
Could he be the next Beau Muston ala 2009?
Mature aged, 2 decent scores in the 1st 2 games...
Just a warning for those thinking of trading him in with Ablett and Rischitelli due back soon.

There was actually quite a bit of love in the PS for Horsely but as he wasn't elevated, most people steared clear of him.
He has been in GC's top 5 players the last 2 weeks so I would say they have uncovered a gem and he should have his spot in the side chalked up

I remember seeing his name mentioned a bit during preseason. I'm pretty sure he didn't end up playing any of the nab cup games so I'd assume that's why he wasn't talked about as much as other rookies. I remember reading that he was a ball magnet in the WAFL leading up to the draft and have had my eye on him since then.
Hmm.. was given enough TOG to score something decent, but scored pretty crap. Still need a Def rookie for Morris/Ellis, cmon Crows give Luke Brown a game and just let him play loose in defence?

Exactly, Bock will be out long enough for Horsley to make his cash and after that it will be a raffle between the two for who is playing better I would imagine.
GC could also nominate Horsley as their sides' allocated midseason rookie upgrade from rd11 if his form warrants it, could they not?
How long is Harbrow meant to be out for? This is probably what they're planning to do

Horsely upgrade for Harbrow which must be a minimum of 8 weeks, getting past Rd 11 where Horsely will become the nominated rookie (no LTI required).
