Yeah tough to call for Brennan, i agree with you about Lids. But as i said you talk about it as a certain thing and alot of people just go off what FF says.

Brennan may aswell be named everywhere. avg 5 a game, he wouldnt have played as a 2nd ruck alot of the games and wouldnt have rucked in quite a few games so that avg would be higher.

CHAD, im really liking Tipz and Kruez mate. I reckon their a goer.

How many tons has Kreuzer got in his career?

why do you ask

Are you question his scope of improvement

Only 1 but he had a very solid year which was consistant and scored 3 90+ in his last 4 games. But his body was wearing as the year went on, struggled in rounds 11-18 just probably couldnt physically handle a full year in the ruck and will be further adapted next year.

Were there any players named as rucks this year that arent proper ruckmen? Like Lynch? Im pretty sure Kosi was named as a ruck, even though he is pretty much a permanent FF. Its very hard to predict what VS will do next year, as they have shown no consistency with positions in previous years. To categorically state that Lids wont be a forward is just silly.

It is actually champion data that do the positions not VS.

You are correct, but i would be extremely surprised if lids is still a forward. He averaged less than a goal a game.

Yes that is the reason, I don't see him dominating games.

I wouldn't expect Kreuz to dominate games. Yes he did only score 1 ton for the year but towards the end he got a few scores in the nineties including one in the elimination final. An average of 80-85 would be enough for me to keep him.

Yeah im pretty sold on Sandilands and The Cruise as my two rucks this year.

Enlighten me to why your picking Sandilands, personally im questioning whether he has more upside to him.

Hes increased his avg by 21 over the last 2 years, im not sure if he can further increase that avg, looking at his round by round scores though, they look impressive.

Im picking Sandi because to me he has less questions beside his name.

Cox is only just starting a preseason, Jolly new club maybe less time in the ruck, Clarke what happens with the berger and McIntosh has Goldstein breathing down his neck.

I think Sandi's role wont change at all and he is moving into the prime age for a ruckmen, he might not have much upside but he sure as hell doesn't have any downside. Im not picking my rucks on upside, im picking on durability and roles.

Exactly, you don't need an upside in every player you pick. He averaged 95 ppg in 2009. In 2010 I cant see his average dropping at all and am expecting an average from 95-100 which will put him in the top 3 rucks considering he stays on the ground all year.

This, and his the tallest in the game. Can't go wrong really

Sandilands is very expensive for a player that wont increase his avg and if he does by very little. I think he will find less dispsoals next year as the fremantle side relies more on Mcphee, M.Johnson, Palmer (esp), Crowley and Morabito for possessions. I think Sandilands role wont be to get as much ball next year. Fremantle had a weakened midfield last year and it relied on Sandilands and Pavlich to play larger roles through the midfield meaning more possessions than usual. I think hes a safe option in the rucks which is okay but i think you could do alot better. I think its silly spending so much money on a player that wont increase his avg by as much as say a midfielder, forward or back priced at the same avg.

As for the above post i think only 1 spot will be allowed in the crows forward line between Walker and Hentschel. One good player will miss their. I cant see them playing 3 good talls especially with Tippett who you want, one out as much as possible.
I can see the crows playing 3 talls with Walker playing as third tall down deep with Tippett while Hentschel plays at chf. Also, Hentschel could play down back as lose man, pretty versatile player which i think is handy to have but then again just about our whole team can play different ends of the ground

I can see your point, in my eyes though i can't see it happening, Sandi is becoming a better player each year, you are talking yourself out of picking him. I reckon he will be number 2 this season behind cox.... therefore if someone like a tippet doesn't increase his average by much because walker is becoming more of a target next season I have a player averaging nearly 20 ppg more than your's. What will you do then? trade or keep him for the season?

Sandilands I believe will surprise you next year.

Burton not playing in the forward line? burton is quite tall. Surely Burton infront of Hentschel ?
