What are people's thoughts on Mitch Morton?

Last 4 rounds he has scored 104, 103, 97, 97

Looking at trading him in for brown and pavlich could be rested this week.

Since being moved into the midfield, he has been gold. He would be one of the better looking forwards at the current moment in time. This is assuming you have some of the bigger named forwards.

Brown and Harbrow have been named :thumbsu:
With one trade left, who should I trade Sandi for?

Mumford: Will score big this week against the bulldogs but has a tough ask the following week against Brisbane.
Jolly: Has Adelaide and Hawthorn left who don't exactly have the strongest ruck brigade.
Would there be any chance of Jolly being rested?
McIntosh: Made his way into some pretty good form, he has a tough ask against West Coast and a reasonable ask against Melbourne.
Don't Trade: I have two preliminary finals this week but I'm mainly going for overall ranking. I could play Warnock and then hope that Sandi returns after. Warnock is up against Geelong.

Advice please.

He looks good... playing a more up the ground role. Could be a nice unique pick for the last two rounds.

Okay, I have one trade left. Do I trade out Brown, Sandilands or Harbrow presuming they are all out this week... I have Hitchcock on my forward's bench, Strijk and Roberton on my defence bench and Warnock to cover for Sandi. 28k left in the kitty.

Harbrow and Brown back in probably answers your question

2 trades left, 122k in the bank

got no cover for Pavlich... so i must trade

332k Pavlich -> 438k Didak (leaves me with 16k, 1 trade)

OR

332k Pavlich -> 407 Franklin (leaves me with 47k, 1 trade)

OK... the good: I have 3 trades left, and cover on all lines.
The bad: I have Brown, Pav, and Sandi.... my opponents don't :(

I have Warnock as cover for Sandi, but he could get owned by the Cats. I've DP'd Waite to the forward line to cover Pav, and have Grant to cover Brown if needed.

so i guess the question is.... do i bring in HMac, Jolly, or Ryder for Sandi? or do i do a cash grab on say..... Stevenson and bring in Bollenhagen? or both and hope like hell one trade is enough if i make it through to next week :)

With only two rounds left... there is every chance you won't use the trade next week so I wouldn't worry about money and go with the better option which is Didak. However, Hawthorn could dominate a weak Freo side meaning that Franklin has a big game. I worry though about his scoring against Collingwood though in Round 22. I'd say, Franklin if you want a risk... Didak if you want a safe option who is in very good form.

I would just play Warnock

Scored very well last week, and no Ottens either for Geelong, so their ruck brigade is weakened

Have only got a slim chance of winning this week so have to do a sideways trade. Which trade would benefit me most?

Watson -> Chapman
Shaw -> Scotland
LeCras -> Thomas
Boyd -> Swan
Sandilands -> Any ruckmen (Have to play Warnock otherwise)
ROK -> Morton

Lecras to Daisy. Or maybe ROK to Morton (given ROK seems to be given a tagging role).

Hey guys, this is my team:

Goddard, Hodge, Enright, Gilbert, Duffield, Malceski, Harbrow (Webberley, Hams)

Swan, Montagna, Bartel, Goodes, Gibbs, Mitchell (Rohan, Shuey)

Sandi, Jolly (Warnock, Bass)

Didak, Buddy, ROK, Riewoldt, Stevie J, Rockliff, Watts (McNeil, Hitchcock)

Obviously Watts is my main concern. I have 2 trades and 189k.
Do I:

A) Webberley > Davies, Rohan > Boyd (and swap Goodes into my fwd line, McNeil to mids bench and Watts to fwds bench)

B) Watts > Waite, maybe wait a week to be conservative, then Malceski > J Kelly or Lake if he's fit

C) Watts > Waite, ROK > Judd/J Kelly

D) Something I’ve missed?

Any help very much appreciated.

A) looks best.

So I've got Higgins to trade with only 315k to spend (last trade)

Already got ROK and Brown in that range.

Looking at guys like Garlett, Pods, Grundy, Stokes, Byrnes, Hansen, Dawes, Tippet, Leigh Brown.

Anyone have any advice? I know that they aren't great choices but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks mate. What about J.Brown tho? I cant help but think he is going to miss either this week or next, then if i do win im screwed lol

Do the double since you have 2 trades.

I've only got the 1 :p

You can do Hams to Crameri/Carlisle + Brown to Chappy :thumbsu:

Then you can have Pav back next week for a big grand final win.

Thanks mate. The only thing is I'm a little nervous going into the last round without any trades...

I would probably go Pods. I reckon he's in the team for the long haul and has two pretty favourable games coming up - especially next week at his very happy hunting ground. He has also proven in the past that he can post a big score.

Pav, Fyfe, Higgins and possibly JB out, and not enough cash to use my 2 trades properly. Should've downgraded Higgins last week so I had the cash to use the 2 trades properly. Here goes my prelim down the drain.

I have pav, brown, and waters. 4 trades left 100k in bank

Was thinking pav - daisy thomas
then waters - enright saving 2 trades for the gf any thoughts.

Carazzo will be on the bench to haha useless he is

Getting rid of Higgins, 2k short of straight trade to Daisy.

Do I sideways J Brown to someone like Stokes/Byrnes then do Higgins > Thomas or just trade Higgins to T Cloke/Rockliff? I don't have a problem using my final 2 trades here, need to throw everything at this prelim!

Forward line is Goodes Didak ROK Roo Higgins Brown Hitchcock (Pav Playfair)
