It'll most likely be between him and Jackson, at the very least he'll finish top 3, but he's my tip to win it.

I can definitely see top three. I just suspect someone'll get enough consistent votes to dud him (having said that, I don't know how the Richmond B&F scoring goes, which could affect things massively).

You are seriously deluded, or bias, most likely both.

I rate a good tall well above a good small because they're that much harder to find. Having said that, it's nice to see you're interesting in discussing the ratings rather than just insulting me. Good for you!

The Fev issue ultimately backfired and cost Voss his job and most likely played a major part in eventual the board issues - internal turmoil. That is why even clubs getting thrashed on field 'week in week out' are gun shy. I do not blame them. Richmond have done a good job keeping him under control so they may as well continue with it!!!! Sounds like humble pie may well be on the menu!!!
I have no doubt he will be an even better player next season!!

You only named one good tall, Leuenberger.

Well seeing as the b&f is judged on the home and away season and no finals are included i think it is correct in using end of H&A standings, which was fifth.

That's odd, most club B&F's include finals, and why not, it's the most important part of the season.

Actually you've finished 7th
Also does the AFL actually update the ladder after finals? Or is it just draft pick order they change depending on finals?
Because I think most people next year when talking about the ladder would say we finished 5th, I've never hear anyone say, they finished 5th but actually after finals they finished 7th.

Freo (7) beat the Cats (6) last year in the finals and consequently the Cats had pick 16 and Freo had pick 17

What do you reckon people say about the crows in 97 & 98?

In 97 do they say 4th or 1st?

In 98 do they say 5th or 1st?

There's your answer

I just say they are the Premiers. I've never really spoken about ladder positions beyond the home and away season, I guess I'm just in the minority who seperate a the H&A season from the finals.

All good, getting off topic anyway so ill let it go.

People forget that when Swan was around Dusty's age he was going to court charged with assault and intentionally causing serious injury. His career has turned out alright (premiership, Brownlow) despite numerous "social issues"

Now while Martin may have issues they are nothing that have not been dealt with before within an AFL club.

Does Martin have the discipline to make it work long term?

I question this because at age 22 he has not improved his tank sufficiently to run out games.

He goes missing at times when we are getting beaten but otherwise BF myth. He's had plenty of 4 quarter performances even from his first year.
And still has plenty of games where he drops off..

As I said he goes missing when we are getting beaten, his tank can certainly improve but it's a myth that he can't run out games.
No, it's not. I've seen him disappear in plenty of games where it goes down to the wire.
