Greta that these 2 are top 4. Really putting the mozz on thos ethinking teams must stay down. Professional approach to rebuild and here they are. Hoping for a good game. Probably hope WC win. But expect a close game.

Will certainly miss his ability to make something out of nothing....

that's probably the only time he's done that, and you had to go back years. How far back do we go for for darlings pathetic double flop?

If west coast make top 2 or even top 4 ......we can't be tagged flat track bullies

WeVe had played teams when they have been in form ......another tough game this week

I think that has been well and truly put to bed.

Wins against, Fremantle, Sydney and Richmond in the last couple of months. Plus a close loss to Hawthorn. I think everyone is well aware that West Coast are the real deal.

I'm hopeful of Hawthorns chance this year, but believe that West Coast will be the biggest threat come September. I believe that if NicNat and Sinclair had played against us, the result would have been different.

How come when we played Hawthorn at subi, the Hawks got the better deal on the umpiring ?

Because as much as I hate to say it, the umps have been dogging us all season.
Last week was the first time i actually felt we got the better deal.

And its not just free kick numbers, its important kicks at important times, and where the free kicks take place on the field where we have been really ****in destroyed

Cheers

Dont underestimate the NicNat factor, the best and most loved guy on our list returning from heartbreaking personal tragedy. Our guys will bleed for him and 40,000 fans will make the sky shake whenever he goes near it. Tough gig for a young team.

Finally a hawks fan with some humility ...and common sense thanks, Great post

We've played swans, freo Hawks and Richmond in the last 2 months .....we are 3-1 against the other top sodes recently .....

No, but they're all in pretty good form. It's the one area of the ground i'm pretty confident in atm.

Feels weird saying that as a Dogs supporter.

Amazing spread of goal kickers!

Dickson putting together a fantastic season without gathering headlines which are heaped on Stringer, Boyd (not for performance) and to a lesser extent Crameri since his return.

Seems obvious I know - but if we can force your mids to kick high and long we will win, if we allow your mid size forward line to run and spread you will carve us

There is the main difference between the 2 teams. Tom Campbell tries hard but just wont be able to compete with Nic, so the Eagle's mids will get first use around the stoppages. That is the key to beating the Bulldogs.

I can see Josh Kennedy and Jack Darling having a day out against the Bulldogs' tall defenders, with the open spaces of Domain Stadium allowing the Eagle's forwards to isolate the Dogs' defenders. LeCras, Cripps and Hill will also benefit from playing one on one rather than against a zone defence.

It will be interesting to see if the foot skills of the Bulldogs' elite midfielders can pick apart the Weagle's Web, as Hawthorn was eventually able to do, as most of the Bulldogs' attacks will have to come from turnovers in the Eagles' forward line.

Prediction: The Dogs will struggle to kick 10 goals. The Eagles will kick between 15 and 20.

Lol at the dumb expression on Sinclairs face, thank fkuf he's on my team!

I've never seen Nic Nat live ...I'm going to dogs game this week .....

Will be interesting to see how the saints American ruckman goes this weekend

The ability to jump and hang you can't teach ......you either have it or you don't ........

Has the makings of a great contest.

However Margetts and Dalgleish are umpiring.

Eagles by plenty.

if Nic nat is not rusty cant see the bulldogs winning but he has not played for 2 weeks
Can't see him being rusty.

He'll be frothing at the mouth to get "normality" back into his life.

Expecting a big effort.
