I’ve always made it clear I highly respect Eddie and everything he has achieved, but he’s just a comedy of errors now and needs to step down. Put the club first, every time he opens his mouth now they have to go into damage control which can’t be good for the coaches or players.

All good and well to have an opinion but when that opinion shifts or he has to double-back when it relates to his club, that becomes either hypocrisy of ethical cowardice. If he's going to use his media platforms to express his opinion, then he should naturally expect the public to expect him to act on said opinion when it relates to his own backyard. We all know (as we saw with Jack Steven, immediately followed by him singing a very different tune when it came to Jordan De Goey) that if it was another coach or another team's player/s breaching the rules he would have a lot to say and it wouldn't start with how "proud" he is of those people.
