how can it be that marby owe $40 k from what i have hear to the edfl but can pay sign on's to players for $5k or more
i wonder if my bank would let me do that ?

I was told by a club secretary their was about 8 clubs who owe they league money and they were told it needed to be paid or clubs wont be able to sign new players until they do or have a payment plan that thry stick to be interesting to see if the enforce it

Marby almost went broke by overpaying players in the late 90's...... Let's hope they aren't making the same mistakes again

Not entirely true, I think they also had trouble with money going "missing" from within. If you win the flag, are you really over-paying??
