As with last year Brickman, wishing don't make it so. No doubt some players will leave, as they do every year. I believe a player even left Buckleys once, but that may have been a rumour.

Only one bloke has ever left douttas and we all know who that was......and i am not talking about loafy:eek: :thumbsu:

I've been told a few of the Strathmore boys will be joining yours truly down at Eltham. I'm sorry to say, but Strathmore are not doing the right thing at all. I've been told the departing players are Strathmore home-growns, and if the rumour about Poyas, Doering and Lee James are true, then that might just be the straw that breaks the camel's back for these Strathmore boys. I know for a fact that there are 5-6 Strathmore 18's players contemplating moves elsewhere ;) and it just seems to me that in 4-5 years Strathmore will have no-one. Thoughts?
5-6 18's leaving Brickman? Made that one up. Hardly that many going up to seniors in 07. As for the supposed list of recruits, I think you came up with them as well Brickman. Silly season is upon us.

From what I have heard, all 18's going up want out. They have said that Hille hasn't spoken to them about their chances of playing seniors in 2007, and feel that they could play seniors elsewhere. Poor communication skills on Strathmore's behalf aberdaberdo.

As previously posted by the spagger its great to announce Ramano Manilio ( Spitta ) to the new coaching position at The Sharks.

We as a club are most excited to welcome Spitta and his crew to the club and are sure he with his wealth of experience will steer our club in the right direction in the years to come.

So to any players out there who want a new start in an exciting era for an upcoming club JUMP INTO THE SHARK POND everyones welcome.

Good Luck! Wish you all the best for Syd/Hillside- GREAT FOLK

What does this mean for West Coburg? D mac can you inform us of any players the coach might bring across with him?

Surely one of the criterias of appointing a new coach is what he can bring with him or attract in the way of new players.

Are West Coburg going to continue as the yo - yo's of the competition?

Can anyone from WC tell us of any progress made with new coaches or players?

If you played U18's in 06 you got pretty well looked after by senior football and the club. I'd say have enough guts to back yourself and have a crack. Course every player could play seniors elsewhere if they go low enough, have a go at playing senior footy in a good side.

EDFL Website is advising Ian Grant appointed coach of Moonee Valley and Shaun Smith appointed coach of Taylors Lakes.
Anyone know who is coaching Oak Park, West Coburg, Craigieburn

cant wait for the day that the sh*t hits the fan! and god will it be a good feeling to see a nice large lump of runny sh*t slide down the face of that money hungry c8nt in hille and all those strathmore ****as!

its not fair to see clubs like WC spending 35 thou and avondale heights spending 75 thou... when strathmore are paying 4 players a total of 100,000 just to kick a ball around the park!

hope the money runs dry very flipping soon you yellow and brown goons!

I played 18's at Strathmore last year, but I don't understand what you mean when you say we got well looked after in 2006  A few of the 18's moving up have no idea what chance they have of playing 1's at Strathmore, and with the likes of the players down there, believe that they won't get a chance. Therefore we are looking elsewhere. I think it is in the club's best interest to sit guys like myself down and have a chat to them. Because I think you've got more of a chance of keeping these guys at the club, than the likes of Poyas, Doering etc.

TC out. :thumbsu:

Proof that the returning of these people back into the community hasn't worked. Would be better in a controlled environment. Yellow and brown?

For the record it is Gold and Blue.......as in......"Cheer Cheer the Gold and the Blue".
Ask Brickman for the rest of the words. They would still be ringing in his ears.
It would have been sung 17 times during the Home and Away games, once during the semi's and countless times after the Grand Final.;)

Tony, don't get vacuumed into the rumours and innuendo about who is getting recruited to your Club. The Mores are very proffesional as you would know.
Only one Player has been confirmed so far and he is also going to be part of the coaching staff as Playing Assistant Coach.
I'm sure you and all the playing groups will be spoken to very shortly.
Keep your chin up.
