Bomber - tell us more,,,,,,,,, who is not happy?? which barnard isnt playing?? Quinn, may not be playing at Strathmore are you serious??
Some big news there,,,, spill the beans

Can't give you more, my 'source' told me that Jeremy wasn't playing due to travel. I believe Paul has heavier work comitments so was unlikely anyway but wouldn't play without his brother there I wouldn't think. As for Quinn I am just responding to earlier suggestions on here that he may not be happy with the couple of players leaving, sounds like he's still there though so looks secure for the year.....:thumbsu:

Quinn always playing. The posts you responded to were yours. Jeremy Barnard O/S for half a season. "I believe Paul has heavier work commitments" - you talk as if you have some idea, I think not. Paul played on the weekend and will play more than in 06.

Not likely, not sure who it was but I didn't come with the info about a king hit o/s a bar or about the possible issues with players leaving. I never said Quinn was leaving. This is a chat forum isn't it?? Would be pretty boring on here if no one wrote things they weren't 100% sure on. In regards to Paul that's what i heard, I thought he was doing more with Bombers or something?? Souns like SM have managed to hang on to well and truly enough to keep other clubs concerned......:thumbsu:

If your <100% assertions are not substantiated, and they involve the character of someone other than yourself, you abuse the site rules, disrespect other users and/or actual people out in the footy world, and endanger the site of legal action.

So, boring or not, you don't make character-based allegations about anyone without sufficient substantiation. Such posts are removed. When repeated, such posters are also removed.

I thought the HPM was abreviated for Heroin/Pslocybin/Methamphetamins.

Surely that is what Stephens been employed for...like the Snacks boy at the AFL.....a walking 7/eleven of illicits...

Don't know who you are, but I see very few posts on here that involve the character of someone other than banter b/w those that know each other. Which club a guy plays for is hardly 'character-based'. Thanks for the high school legal studies update tho.....;)

Even if yers know each other, at the very best you still set bad examples for others.

As to who I am, my name is Kev, Fitzroy fan lives near Caulfield and I'm sorry to say I have never seen an EDFL match in my life. Nevertheless its me that has to walk around it with a big stick telling people off every now and then. :)

Thanks for the very detailed explanation, geez how times have changed in the world of local footy.I hope Steve doesnt introduce his own diet of 20 pots,20 scotch's,a pack of darts,a fatty and a Mr Funny Kebab or the boys will be a bit sluggish around the packs :D .Wont be long until we have player managers eh

You have to be kidding mate lol. Half the crap written here is shit talk and everyone is just having a bit of fun. l remember not to long ago that a certain individual wrote a scathing attack on a coach and you did nothing about it. If your not from our league well then piss off and let the boys have our fun cos we know whats true and not true......And please dont talk crap about legal action. Im a solicitor and no action can be taken against an individual on a public forum regarding rumour and inuendo. TOOL

in case you havent realised yet mr hot shot, mobbenfuhrer i think you will find is actually a moderator of the site. so i think he has every right to get on YOUR page and tell you to watch what you say. TOOL

Thanks for your input!

Did anyone report the scathing attack referred to? When you see something that disrespects others or breaches site rules, please use the report post function (exclamation mark within upside down give-way sign, bottom left of each post), rather than starting a flame war on the site. If you'd like to fill me in on the past incident you refer to, I can try to follow it up.

Secondly if that's true that you have the answer to the legal action over posts on a public forum issue ... it would be most appreciated if you would PM Mobbenfuhrer (me, moderator Regional Leagues boards) and/or Chief (who runs the site), because it could be handy to know!

Whats everyones predictions for this weeks games???

Avondale v Craigieburn
Abers V Doutta
Greenvale
V KP
Keilor v West Coburg
Oak Park V Strathmore

I am also told that most B Grade teams will be playing praccy matches this week which asks the question as to why didnt they just start this weekend as well.

because edfl are **** heads:mad:

Doutta by 5 goals over Abers
Strathmore 10 goals over Oak Park
Avondale Heights by 6 goals over Craigieburn
Keilor by 12 goals over West Coburg
Greenvale by 20 goals over Keilor Park

Hey oldfashiondefender your tips and points margins seem fairly realistic in my opinion :) which i guess if you have a good look at them its a pretty bloody uneven comp :( and will always be i guess unless there is some sort of salary cap.

because edfl are **** heads

And Right On i think maybe you are the **** HEAD mate :D

I thought the EDFL knowing who the stronger teams would be a long time ago could have scheduled at least 1 blockbuster say Doutta V Greenvale, Strathmore V Keilor to kick of the year and get everyone excited. I think as a whole this season is very exciting i dont think the top 4 will change but the amongst the top 4 it will be very even. I have been saying for a while and dont know why the EDFL dont make it top 5, would be a hell of a lot more interesting as almost all of the sides (prob with exception of oak park and KP) have a realistic chance of finishing 5th, an extra week of finals more cash to the edfl just makes sense to me and I am not sure why we are living in the 80s and playing top 4.

The difference between the haves and the havenots is only going to become larger unless they introduce some kind of cap. It is great to have quality players running around but realistically only four sides will be up there this year(Strathmore, Douttas, Greenvale and Keilor). The other teams can look forward to a long year.

NO he dosnt mr. localfooty. You dont seem to understand that this is a public forum and as long as it does not sexualy offend, racialy villify any being, the use of obscene language or discriminate against people he cant sencor a bloody thing. Maybe you should stick to what you know best localfooty, whatever that may be.........
And for your info mr. mobby, any lawyer would laugh off a lawsuit re. rumour and innuendo so so dont have any problems mate and please dont tell us that you have had one in the past........

[QUOTEat least the stupid **** didn't make any spelling mistakes this time!][/QUOTE]

Yes i had noticed that Right On makes a few spelling mistakes, hey get onto spell check Right On then you dont have to worry ;)

Avondale v Craigieburn
Abers V Doutta
Greenvale V KP
Keilor v West Coburg
Oak Park V Strathmore

And regarding this weeks games i know they all seem pretty lop sided but is there a chance that the two blues could upset the stars???Ive heard Douttas have picked up a few but lost more and dont know to much about Abers.
