AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
3 goals, when he has little help, tall defender wise, in the APW back, is a decent game IMO.
Some of their new players look impressive - Potter, Randello, Kuret, Hakim, Pekes, Faraj just too name a few... Dont be suprised if they come out firing this year..
Unless a team is being totally dominated by an opposition their forwards are gonna kick goals. It's just a fact of our great game. If a defender get's a few kicked on him so what.... Backmen are judged these days by what they do going the other way with run and setting up plays from rebounds etc etc..... Does anyone really keep track of how many goals Gilbee or Jess Sinclair have kicked on them??? Not likely, but they're highly regarded defenders....
How is Dale May only # 13 ? If you win Best in Comp clearly ur # 1.
How is it Post 2007 if we are only a handful of weeks in???
Was just looking at the ladder for A Grade and it looks like atleast 5 teams will be competing for the 3rd and 4th spots.Doutta are 3rd but have a shocking percentage and then Keilor,C'Burn,W.Coburg and A.Heights all on 3 and 3.And i guess even Oak Park wouldnt count themselves out of a potential top 4 finish.
Obviously its much better then last year where there was a 2 or 3 game gap between 4th and 5th but on the other hand can anyone see a team beating Strathmore or Greenvale other then each other if that makes sense So i guess this early on in the seaon is it a forgone conclusion that Strathmore and GV will play off in the granny and the other teams are just making up the numbers and there will be more interest who gets relegated then who wins the GF???
Dont Stathmore and GV ply each other twice soon? These games could ultimatley show who will win the flag in my opinion. Then again you dont have to be a rocket scientist to determin that
WAXY
Steve Kenna - Cragieburn boy. Plays midfield/3rd tall forward.
Was a fringe player for the Cannons in their dominant years. A key player in their B Grade premiership and last year played for Southport in the QAFL.
Hope that helps you sticks.
Kenna is only one of the young guns, you forgot to mention the rest to watch out for.
Is that tom from seymoreRobinson?
Nah Dan.Is that tom from seymore
Can someone please post the B Grade, I mean Maribyrnong Park Top 50?
Richard Little at 30! C'mon Matty, top 5 easily. Two time premiership captain and easily the best defender in the comp now that Budge has retired.

Dont see that much B grade but I would have thought Robbie Powell would be close to top 5 and def a better player than spike who i wouldnt have top 10, Andrew Mc Clean another i would have had atleast top 10 and captain of the side best leader in B grade by miles, Only seen him once but consistantly in the best for Roxy so would have thought Dollman would be higher and Damien Caulfield would be Glenroys best player so just on that would think he would be higher.

Thanks Barts
What number does he wear ??? Had a look at Cragieburn 2 weeks ago v Keilor and the only guys who stood out were Pappin & Nolan.....
If they are going to push top 4 in the 2nd half of the year they will need to play a more direct style of footy.... Once Keilor got on top they reverted to the sideways chipping game that just won't cut it against the top 3...
Here is a top 10 A Grade.... post 2006
