Unless a team is being totally dominated by an opposition their forwards are gonna kick goals. It's just a fact of our great game. If a defender get's a few kicked on him so what.... Backmen are judged these days by what they do going the other way with run and setting up plays from rebounds etc etc..... Does anyone really keep track of how many goals Gilbee or Jess Sinclair have kicked on them??? Not likely, but they're highly regarded defenders....

Watch Craigieburn in the second half of the season

Was just looking at the ladder for A Grade and it looks like atleast 5 teams will be competing for the 3rd and 4th spots.Doutta are 3rd but have a shocking percentage and then Keilor,C'Burn,W.Coburg and A.Heights all on 3 and 3.And i guess even Oak Park wouldnt count themselves out of a potential top 4 finish.

Obviously its much better then last year where there was a 2 or 3 game gap between 4th and 5th but on the other hand can anyone see a team beating Strathmore or Greenvale other then each other if that makes sense So i guess this early on in the seaon is it a forgone conclusion that Strathmore and GV will play off in the granny and the other teams are just making up the numbers and there will be more interest who gets relegated then who wins the GF???

Dont Stathmore and GV ply each other twice soon?These games could ultimatley show who will win the flag in my opinion.Then again you dont have to be a rocket scientist to determin that

If it is based on last year, how is The A train Aaron Thomas not included he was instumental in there 2 flags. Agree May seemed a little low, Hassel come on he is no where near top 50. I am one of the few people who still does not rate Winter but I dont think he is top 10 just does not consistantly dominate games but does when it counts which i suppose makes up for it, As much as we love Rabee hard to have him at #2 when comparing B grade to A grade I would have had Bicer a head of him apart from these not a bad list.

Just on Greenvale. George was high and Johnny Hassel probably was a bit lucky. Rama & Lenne are elite A grade midfielders and are well well above some of those above them. Chris Smith was also stiff. Was a clear 2nd best ruckman last yr and now dominating at half forward. Club B and F's are the best way to judge a clubs top 10

Harvey, Quinn, Holman and Carey have Rabee covered as well I'm afraid. Little should be maybe 10 spots higher. Ramsey is very lucky as well. Comp medal or not there are 15-20 better mids in Agrade

If they are going to push top 4 in the 2nd half of the year they will need to play a more direct style of footy.... Once Keilor got on top they reverted to the sideways chipping game that just won't cut it against the top 3...

Sticks - spot on for the recruits - cant have mckee or churchill both dissapointing and Davidson too inconsistant at the moment looks great when he is on but hasnt broken a game open
of yr top 10 - I agree with your thoughts on Carey -
I think that Lee Fraser is stiff to miss your top 10 I would rate him above a few there -I find it interesting as a keilor man you rate marcy above him
would put Quinn in as well agree smith is good , but I think Quinn has the ability to hit his midfielders consistantly
