Mate have a real hard think about what you just wrote before you lose all your credibility.

Either way maybe you should have a crack at producing a A and B grade

rep team? If you think Tate shouldnt be there who would have there

instead Aussie dude? Just remember and keep in mind he would be picking

up a resting rover/small forward!

Jon Hassell.

I have produced numerous EDFL sides in this thread if you want have a look.

John Tate did not play against keilor in the semi-final due to injury. So he must have been tagging Frasier very loosely. Thus why he started the grand final on the pine.

And the year before he couldn't get on the field and once again, started on the bench both finals. However played really well against Oak Park.

I sound so anti tate. I said he would be lucky to get in the side, not that there was no way he would get in. He is still a good player in the EDFL.

At the end of the day l have produced A and B grade rep sides and lam

open to discussion for the players l have picked.....as l have always said

everyone is entitled to there opinion, Tate is my pick!

Im picking you would probably have an issue with the selection of Troy

Paterson too?

Thats correct, l suppose starting a unfit player on the ground is a great

move........???? Some people need to get there facts first!

Troy Patterson is another definate in my initial squad of 36 until I cut it down. It just seems so long ago that I remember him being unstoppable in 2001 for Keilor. I played at the Valley that year and both times he was awesome against others.
Maggiorie cousin Joey (Ex Laurel Hotel) the funniest bloke you could ever meet.

Troy is a proven player, injuries, wrk makes it hard to get the best of out

of you interms of footy. When fit and firing he can play and is very hard to

match up on. Can also play up the ground. He is a funny bloke is he

having a kick this year in the twos again?

Um, have a read of my quote, i think i realise he was injured. My facts are not wrong at all. It was a hammie as well. However in 2004 he started on the bench due to poor form and a pretty good gvale midfield.

In regards to paterson, i hope everything works out well for him. He has had a really hard 12 months, the sort of things you dont wish on anyone. I never really saw the best of him, however he is a good size.

To be honest, when i read d.zarah at full back i didnt continue to read your side. Has put on about 10kgs in the last 12 months, obviously fitting into the law firm well.

Aussie dude, how about you take some time and effort out to do rep

teams, atleast l've had a crack at it and lm open to discussion on the

matter. I cant make everyone happy (including you) and you seem to bag

the weak ones. Good to see you didnt bag troy....he is top bloke and good

mate of mine everyone wishes him all the best.

All l can say is draw up some A and B grade teams if you can seeing you

know so much about the comp and its players, its very hard.

REMEMBER IT'S ONLY MY OPINION, NOT GOSPEL!!!

Fellas, both of you know a lot more than the average on EDFL so well done. I agree that since Zahra did his knee and went overseas, he hasn't been the same. Still a very good player, but since the elite has come in probably misses out. It is all about opinion though.

I hope others give feedback on mine and ALLEARS's side.

As I am approaching setting up this years t.v show, I wanted to once again get fresh feedback on the Panel for the TV Show.
- Can you give me best in order. - Comments on panelists.
- New recruits suitable to the panel. - Who you like or dislike.

Rocky Ianello, Brett Scott, Gavin Kerr, John Barbuto, KD, Dave Callender,
Ash Mills, Sam Tankard, Tarek Moughanie, Marcus Barclay, John Rousakis,
Shane Keogh, Guru, Paul Harrison, Murray Nilsson.

Hot off the press Westmeadows has sacked Lee Oneill for non apperance at training . Rumour is there going to spend the cash elsewhere on a couple of players from coburg.

My mail is westy realised they offered him too much money and were looking for an excuse. I think he was pretty happy to go back to oak park anyway.

For westmeadows to spend that sort of money on another midfielder would have been stupid, they lack a tall big time, put a good ruckman into that side with the likes of turner, mclean, taylor and now tynan coles coming back from coburg they would have a good line up into the centre, and when they will be feeding the likes of gough (won the goalkicking last year) they would have to be up there with the top two marby and w.c.

I think Flavel will get found out this year in B grade very soft and will find it alot harder with the delivery, might have to work too hard and thats where i think he'll struggle.

On the J. Scott subject agree with all those who think he is overratted, wouldnt get a kick in a grade, and think he will struggle against the better talls in b grade. But do agree he has come a long way, just not far enough.

Matty the less KD on the footy show this year the better, he talks dribble and says some of the most stupid things ,tries hard but thinks he's the Mike Sheehan of the EDFL. Maybe some goal and marks of the week could be good. Keep up the good work Matty.

oh and what about Ezard as coach of the B grade side instead of Zou, going on credentials i think he has to be a better choice?? anyone agree??

the first 2 blokes left while they were still juniors, so how do they leave for money, and todd courts left with his old man to glenroy, and he never got paid there. as for ash craig, he stayed during the tough times, am suprised he left actually, but dont know where the money comment is coming from

If i'm not mistaken Leigh O'Neil left after under 18 Grand Final loss and thats seniors not junior football. As for Danny Campbell, that a fair enough comment and Todd Courts played senior footy at Jacana, even if he was under 18. All im saying is that clubs won 't survive if there juniors leave.......

Anyway good luck to you, whoever you are and wherever you are playing...And hopefully one day we will see all these old jacs back at the club where they began their footy.

I think the best panelists in my mind are as follows:

Ian Denny- has great insight into alot of the players and there teams

especially the way they play.

John Barbuto- Honest and straight to the point.

I think during the finals last year the panelist you had on were great and

showed a great insight into the games eg. match ups and the key factors

in the finals.

One of the most unrated players going around, is a class act.

Matty,
Put simply Ianello is the best. Knows his stuff is honest and is always looking for ways to improve the competition. He said something on the league doing more for players reaching large milestones and I really agreed with that.

Milsy is a good one, knows his footy and does well on camera.
Tankard is pretty good as is the big fella Tarz but he should probably stick to street talk.

The ones I dont like are KD and Guru.

I like the idea of having a personality or player from each club having a go.
They could do it when it is the clubs turn to host the show.

For the viewers and edfl comp could you please limit Milsy on the show,

god he is ugly...!!!
