yep mayb but still wont concede i think our effort today specially in the last half was beta and we have the crazys next wk and should beat them, there record against us isnt good. once again frankie killed em and lukey howard battled hard along with finky, spike and hatchy. brng on next wk but still genrl my crystal ball says doutta no more wins ;)
Well please smash it................just wish we could both stay in!!

Craigieburn beat Abers again today mate and will give Oak Park a touch up next week. I can gurantee the result will be nothing like the last time they met!

Got 3 games on you duds now mate so its a toss up between Oakers and Doutta for religation!:D:D
Either way i'll be pleased!

Cheers mate, cheers

Sorry Mate would have responded to this c r a a p a week or two ago, but I have been otherwise engaged down port phillip way, ;)

So how are we travelling the last couple of weeks ?? Happy with the outcomes, been some great efforts all is back on track ??

Oh thats right you havent won another game !!!

Fact remains, you lot were slappin backs talkin finals and saying how great it is earlier this year

Fact remains you have a front running, poorly thought out defensive game plan,

Consider this........

You have the highest amount of goals kicked against you than any other side,

You give up 28 more points than WC each week, 29 more than Marbi, 42 more than keilor and a massive 55 more than GV,

You also score less than all of these sides

Take Nordo's 35 out of the equation and it looks worse !!!

what will you finish with 6 maybe seven wins ??

Yes a heap better than last year, but given the hype, we were expected to think you could be a challenger to GV this year,

Big things were expected down at the two blues this year, seems it is just another year of hype and expectation that has led to mediocrity,

Enjoy the camaraderie over summer, hopefully it wont be spent reading the melways on how to get to sydenham hillside !!!

:)

Have a winge mate, starting a fire in a toilet is a pretty cool thing to do, you guys deserve to cop sh*t, what a bunch of idiots.

ECHUCABOY your a freaking fool mate really grow some between the legs before you make comments about other clubs mate!!! im glade people are interested in the crap that Keilors name is involved with, even though im not i got better things to do then spend time and energy concerned with them, So shut up and and if you think you can match them on the feild GO FOR IT!!!

If my calculations are right mate you've got Greenvale at $1.73.

Mark me down for $30K on them at those odds, a moral.

I'd have Greenvale at 1/50, the others it's right your own ticket.

Market update
After taking some huge bets on Greenvale the betting for the flag has closed. Injuries and question marks over the other top 4 sides says Greenvale might to the back-to-back P&C.

More interest is in the relegation fight. Douttas lost to Keilor no surprise there but Oak Park losing has taken away one of the 2 possible chances they had of notching up their 4th win and moving above Doutta on %.

Oak Park have Craigieburn away this week then 3 very tough games with Douttas also some tough games but they might think they are chance to pinch the game against Abers in the penultimate round.

As such, relegation market is down to two and is as follows;

Oak Park - 4/6
Doutta - 11/8

We still have a few chances left buddy, unlike your last roll of the dice this week. Strathmore this week is very winable up there for us on that cow paddock they call a ground, in one of the worst away change rooms in the league behind yours! My crystal ball tells me to buy an 09 Melways for the Oakers

was steve mckee injured on the weekend
just wondering why he wasn't in the ruck for a lot of the 2nd half

Had a big clash in the first quarter in a marking contest. Looked proppy after that. He played forward for most of the game and sat out the last quarter. We were left to rue some injuries on the weekend. Dennis off in the first half, Pound with an ankle. Then Mckee with a corky really put us on the backfoot but Cragieburn were too good for us on the weekend and deserved their win. Is there any talk of extending the bench to four players rather than three.

Also congratulations go out to Puffpuff, nice win on the weekend!!

Cheers mate, very handy collect.

In rare form at the moment - the quarter quad on the Hawks v Saints game last Saturday also paid big overs i thought!

As much as Greenvale would love to see Doutta's relegated to Div.2 anyone that thinks they will lay down to let any other side have an advantage is kidding themselves. Greenvale need to win every game again this year to knock off Douttas record of 40 wins in a row. As this seems to be the bigger picture and forms a part of establishing the club in the record books, I think it is the goal the club would be setting themselves for the rest of this year. Marby Park are the ones that can upset the apple cart and with the rivalry between the 2 Presidents I think it may be the one game I go to see at Section Road this year. Have heard a lot about Marby and the fact they do not get along well on field so this will be another test for that brigade to get things right on the day. Should be a cracker game but my money is still on the Jets by at least 5 goals.

R u sure doutta hold the record? I would have thought Ess-tulla would be up there as they won 5 flags in a row.

Whether Doutta or whoever, do you think they would have been paying over $250+ when they achieved the record?

Let's put things into perspective here.............

Mmmmm correct:thumbsdown:

The only association with myself and bomber is he and his mates are half the reason behind by short absence down port phillip way ;)

So Puff, no comment on my review of your poor season ??

What do i have to say.

Our season has been disappointing.

Lack of cattle, due predominately to injuries has killed us and the results of our 2's have also highlighted this of late due to lack of depth.

With a good 15 players unavailable for selection from the past 6 weeks.

Not making excuses but they are reasons as to why we're not finishing off games and haven't been able to match it with most sides.

We've been smashed in the contested ball and our disposal has let us down which results in huge turnover numbers.

When you get limited numbers on the track it's hard to improve these deficiencies.

So Puff reading between the lines. You are blaming injuries.Give me a spell. We all the have them.No good start again. Maybe look at the coach down.

You know Puff he is right,

We all have them,

I guess it is a result of importing players ???

Leave GV and others out as they import heaps, but take Abers, import a handful and if they fall over you have nothing more than you had last year ??

And I stand by my past comments, they boys gaysey and dean have bought over all run forward !!!!

Greenvale have 8-9 junior players playing this week....

Wonder how many Marbi have ???

See in the paper Carey named on the bench for Geelong VFL this week. Any news if he will play ? General Blastoff ?
rumour is he will kick off at skilled stadium at 1.10pm, by kicking a lazy 3 or 4 then leave the sleepy hollow at half time to head back up the highway to kick another bag to get doutta over the line vs strathmore.........ouch !!!! who just pinched me,,,,,,if only dreams did come true ;)

From what ive been told Douttas lost by 8 goals and Oakpark beat Crazyburn so Douttas on the bottom of the ladder now by percentage

Crazyburn lost by about 50 points in a very average performance. Full credit to oak park who were prepared to put there head over the ball while crazyburn sat back and watched. A lot of unhappy eagles supporters today. I think Frankie Raso only played the 1st quarter also. The way oak park played today you wouldn't believe they are on the bottom of the ladder !:confused::confused:
