gez03 is around the mark, wrflfan. he played a season or 2 under rocky ianello at nth ken, and played a few ressie game for melb as a top up player in 1998( i think ). then went to northcote park, at the height of their great run of 4 flags, went to marby for a yr, then went back to nth park. had a couple of yrs off, and went down to roxy park last yr. expect a big yr out of him this yr!

Heard some big news that Nath Taylor and Liam Turner of Westmeadows have signed at Nagambie F.C. with old coach Ken Ingrham Big loss for Westmeadows as both these boys finished in the top 3 in the b&f.

The only big news thing about this, is probably that both Taylor and Turner are trying to spread rumours of them leaving and contemplating Nagambie F.C so hopefully it gets back to Westmeadows and they can try and squeeze even more money out of the club.
Both players are already being way over-paid than what they're actually worth, but no doubt they'll make Westmeadows fork out even more money just for them, rather than care about the club or other team mates or getting more recruits and being a successful side.

Paul Williams was a bit of both but mainly the players led be A.James. He coached Douttas to the 90-91 flags he coached Sunbury, Taylors Lakes before being offered the coaching job at Douttas and his old man Gravel is an edfl ledgend/life member. Paul went to be an assistant coach at the Western Jets but think he has given it away.

isn't amazing if thats the case that the players were the result of him leaving/sacked, i guess those same players and others involved are probably not even at the club anymore, I know A. James has done the rounds since at a few other clubs since. I notice the last he played for at Lalor have appinted a new coach, was their coach sacked as well, and is it the same coach going around at Albion this year as last. You can't be serious and tell me one player can dictate who coaches ! there must have been more to it than that ? what about Dean Brown at Keilor Park was A. James invloved in that decision too ??

i wouldnt say his not stupid enough to use his own name, but your proberly right on who you think it is. seems to be awfully hectic down at tigerland, plenty of commotion happening down there, maybe that had something to do with the sacking of leigh oneill.
imagine having to put up with this as the coach of westmeadows, how would YOU feel cliffy

Cliffy obviously you are a westmeadows supporter. Might see you around the traps during the year? Also whats this stuff about Leigh O'neill being sacked, heard he's a good young footballer. I know those 2 young blokes personally and was just informing what i heard, good to hear tynan coles and Jeff Frazier have signed.

bit harsh roosterguy, but might be fair. So you know how much these guys are on? Which i had access to that information.

Blythe- goes alright small and can be hard to contain, gets alot of free kicks.

Di Pietro- can play the game, had a quiet season last season the games i saw.

The rest are all pretty honest players.

We have seen heavy recruiting over the preseason espicailly of aged players who have probaly played their best footy already (in regards to b grade). who do you think has the best young list in the comp? ( A and B grade ) And which players have you personally seen that have impressed you?

ill start off with James Watts from strathmore who hits the ball hard and could fit in anyside in any position love to have him playing on my side solid 4 a 19yr old.

also ricky mcveigh great skills, evasive very smart and seems a born leader, seems to be commmited and will go along way.
