General,

The tramtracks have a fair length and girth, not sure if the tracks would get any cleaning from your much sharpened down pencil.:D

Must also agree with you that the Scunbury Lions will not be EDFL bou nd.They are dreaming like St Albans. Both offer the EDFL nothing.:p

Headed down to Windy Hill to watch my 1st B Grade game of the year and saw Tulla comfortably knock off a very disappointing Marby Park. Tulla had loose men all day and looked to work a lot harder. Not sure that Marby have put together a team that can win on the wide open spaces of Windy Hill and will need an injection of leg speed or will hope for poor weather if they are to challenge Tulla in a fortnights time.
C Laurie was a standout for Tulla against Garbutt across half back, particularly in the second half. The delivery to Garbutt was poor but he just didn't look interested. His ruck work in the forward 50 was good and thought a brief burst in the middle when Marby were challenging late in the third might have been worthwhile.
R Laurie also played well up forward and in the ruck despite a constant barrage of rib ticklers from Gilpin.
Tulla's midfield and defence dominated for most of the day making their opponents look lazy and one paced. The shining lights for Marby were Tanner, Bell, Mickelthwait & Powell, the latter two being the only ones who looked capable of turning it on up forward.
Tulla look like a determined and disciplined team who link up well together. Marby will need to do some soul searching and be at their best to win the flag from here.

Maybe Glen should try injecting some of his cash into the junrs or junr teams at the club. At least then you will get something in return.
When will that club learn, we are a joke.

All to familiar for Marby to lose another final, again. The Choke is alive and well at Marby, come on boys, stop playing for the $$$$, If Marby get done next week or in the grand final, Marby would have lost something like 7 or 8 games in the last 3 years for no premership. A Failure, I think so

Saw the Tulla v Marby game.

First time i've seen both sides this year.

Marby did have some chance in the last qtr to peg the margin back but missed some chances. Leigh Grey looked classy when on.

Tulla stars - Col Laurie - best defender in both comps without doubt.
Trenta Aldous, Harmes and Booka mopped up well across the backline, Tommy Robinson had a nice little scuffle on the wing. They look like a really good even side and could just go all the way.

Don't forget in the last three finals series Tulla have played at Windy Hill they have only lost two finals and they happened to be against the Greenvale juggernaut in 2002.

They play the ground really well.

Can Pacco's forwards stretch Marbi's defence?

Next week will be a cracker.

Well done Demons today - super effort and considering they probably started at $8 pre game with Marbi at $1.07.

Stupid comment about Laurie being best defender in both comps...obviously you are a Tulla man who doesn't watch much A Grade..

Tulla excellent today..showed Marby how to play team footy and will be extremely hard to beat in the GF...Get on Board now. Rocky Gentile again showed he is worth his wait in ........shall I say it.......GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

I also went down to windy hill today, expecting to see a training drill put on by marby park,(last time they played tulla ,they won by 9 goals),but what i saw was sub standard disposal and very lazy footballers refusing to man up on there opponents.
To tulla's credit they were the side who were prepared to run hard all day and work together as a team and they fully deserved to beat a very disappointing top team.
Marby park turned the ball over on numerous occasions and were often caught flat footed in the defense transition which saw tulla stream down the ground in numbers.
Tulla were prepared to look after the ball carrier with sheparding and talk, which was another facet of the game that went lacking for marby park.
Skills and talent are useless if you dont have the ball and passion is something that stands up in finals football, hats off to tullamarine for playing finals football the way it needs to be played and as for Marby park,Flags dont come easy no matter how much money is spent.Hard work and team work along with passion and commitment are what is needed to win finals.

interesting as Rocky did not play, how much would he be worth if he did play?

Sorry Schimma, Obviously don't know him and thought it was him. If you think I look a dill on here imagine what the bloke I was barracking for thinks:D...Just thought that Tulla were sensational with their run and clearances yesterday...some of Marby's better known players should have taken notes...

Well obviously u didn't watch the scoreboard to closely last time they met as it wasn't 16 goals it was 9 goals. Bit of a discrepency there mate.

Well Well Well Cashmore ...........did the money run out or did you all lose your heart?Kelior Park would had kick your arse today.Greenvale should win this years flag.I think keilor will give Cashmore a touch up if they play like that again.Tate should be drop and Harvey was well held. They need him to fire up next week or its back to B grade next year.

Straty weren't too far away. They dropped away at the end and conceded some late ones but it was fairly close most of the day. Top game of footy. Tackling was unbeleivable. Be some sore boys tomorrow

Must had been at another game if you recken Cashmore play well or were you looking through the bottom of your pot.

Jett were your boys at full strength? If not how many would get back in and did you cope any injuries from the game? Dean Disipio looked a little worse for wear after he was cleaned up will he be right?

Abers besides Barnard was there any body else missing from your side? A few of your home growns Mazzeo, Watts and Sayers would be a bit nervous at selection this week. Very undisciplined early giving away 50m penalaties.
Wouldn't be taking Keilor to easily this week they will be very confident.
