Just one as always. Only Div 1 have 2 seasons of 2 down to get that Div back to 10 teams and Div 2 up to 10 teams. Looks like APW finding some cohesion after a lot of off season changes
After watching Strathmore today, the Lions side from last year would have beaten them convincingly. Only got on top late in the last 1/4 today with key players out Spiro, Moose and Barling.
Players out from last years side:
Elton, Smart, Quick, Morrish, Goater, Greenwood, Holmes.
Won't get with 10 goals of Keilor at seasons end.
Poor inside mids and a few sleep with the light on.

The likes of yourself who are new to this comp would have no idea of other clubs unavailable players.
Abers and Strathmore currently have multiple outs who would be top 10 players at Deer Park.
Walked down to see this game today hoping to sit upstairs and have a beer, told it was closed so watched from the outer. Beers and food vans
. Deer Park are good but a long way off being a contender like they thought they’d be.

Yeah but those players from last year are no longer there so therefore your point is irrelevant. If they thought they could win in premier, then they would have stayed.

Chat was there side from "last years flag" would've given today's opposition a run from last years grand final lineups.
In regards to missing players l hope they (Strathmore) had several out cause they won't get near Keilor once again on todays lineup.
The lions have 5-6 players playing this year who were regular 2's players and they weren't far off causing a massive boil over.
The point was relevant to last year's side contending against Strathmore's line up if you actually read it champ!

My point was that we will never know if Deer Park would have beaten Strathmore if they were in premier division in 2023.

They would have flogged them.
Champ! Cobba! Can we expect a maaate next? Last years DP team could possibly have got within 7-8 goals of Strathmore, and that’s on their very best day. Keilor would have flogged them by 20 goals, easing up. Pacco and EK would have also comfortably disposed of DP.
Don’t worry though, you’re safe, as you’ll never have to put it to the test.

Ole Mortlock. You are obsessed with Deer Park it seems. Come to a Deer Park home game and put aside an hour or so to look at the silverware and premiership team photos. This year is purely a consolidation year and Deer Park have well and truely proved they are competitive and have enhanced what was a wilting league. Certainly have more followers than every club bar Keilor.
