Wonder if they’ll have cameras set up in the families homes aswell, like the nfl did.
Seems to be one or two each year that get that sort of treatment, like Worrell last year if I'm not mistaken

eDPS At what range do you see Joel Western going? North have shown significant interest in him. Could a bid come in the late first - early second?

"Speedsters Brandon Walker (East Fremantle) and Joel Western (Claremont) are the pick of the club’s NGA talent, while Walker’s twin brother Chris has put together a big second half of the season to earn a late combine invite and could get a rookie spot.

North Melbourne, who cut 11 players within 24 hours of their season-ending loss to West Coast earlier this month, have shown significant interest in Tigers gun Western."

Really interested in how Smith went.

Waiting for testing to see how some of the roughies I like have gone.

Some numbers from the WA Combine

Peel Thunder speedster Isiah Winder, one of five draft prospects to play WAFL seniors this season, recorded the fastest 20m sprint time of 2.873 seconds.

Perth pair Nathan O’Driscoll (2.931 seconds), Jaiden Hunter (2.969), West Perth defender Kellen Johnson (2.982) and Swan Districts gun Denver Grainger-Barras (2.993) also posted sub three-second times.

The record is held by former Gold Coast Sun Joel Wilkinson, 2.75 seconds back in 2010.

Grainger-Barras topped the agility testing with a time of 8.116 seconds, 0.001 of a second faster than O’Driscoll.

Nineteen West Aussies were invited to the combine but several couldn’t test for various reasons.

Claremont quartet Joel Western, Kalin Lane, Jack Avery, Logan Young and Subiaco pair Blake Morris and Tyler Brockman will test at a later date because of colts grand final duties this weekend.

East Perth defender Jack Hindle was unable to do the full testing because of shin splints, while East Fremantle speedster and Dockers prospect Brandon Walker (foot) pulled up sore from Sunday’s preliminary final.

The 2km time trial, which is happening on Thursday afternoon at the WA Athletics Stadium, will be the last of the testing.

South Fremantle big man Shannon Neale, a former State 400m and 800m champion, will be one to watch.

The athletic ruck-forward is aiming for a sub-6.30.

That’s a big big improvement for poulter on previous testing isn’t it?
On speed for sure but it looks like thats the case across the board, thinking the pre-season 20m and agility tests might have been a little inaccurate as many SA prospects had pretty average tests across the whole board in those areas. Leap tests look the most accurate based of pre-season testing.
