Interesting. Are the combine results responsible for Tilthorpe drifting?
He has always been in that 5-8 range for me, was really hoping he would have tested as I have no data on him. I’m not solid on his athleticism as much as others seem to think so was hoping for data to back that up.

Interesting you have Jones sliding...I'd think he will still go top 10.
Jones went up 1 in my rankings haha

I’m surprised nobody has brought up the measurement updates from the combines ;)
The expert briztoon hasn't checked in yet. Good to get some clarity around the DGB height, I'm still not convinced tho

9 of the top 16 unsighted and untested(Vics) in 2020. We got a combine date locked in yet?
We can’t lock in a date until we get out of the current lockdown restrictions. Sometime in November is likely I hope.

Yeah, I was being a little tongue in cheek about the state of play for those rising and falling in rankings.

O’Driscoll still 187? Thought he’d grown for sure.
Yeah I thought so too, Powell at 183cm suprised me as he doesn’t look that close to the likes of O’Driscoll and Carroll.

Only thing I’m an expert in, is flogging other peoples work.

Plus I’ve been busy trading ooshies for my daughter lately.

Not sure if you’ve responded to this but it’s Interesting that you don’t have Taj Schofield in the top 25, considering his testing last week. I rate him around the 18-25 mark, and wondered whether this would be a headache for Port as fair as their points go, with both Schofield and Jones looking to head to Alberton

Schofield Has had a solid year without really standing out, he is in the 3rd round for me.

Hey eDPS how many selections do you think there Will be in the draft this year. I’ve heard lots of talk about only 50 players being drafted in the ND. If for arguments sake the last pick is pick 50, does that mean the 51st best player will be a rookie selection?
And what effect does it have on trade week for the third round selections of the clubs at the top of the ladder which will be in this range, as well as the round 4 selections of all clubs. Surely these picks are totally worthless as trade capital if all the clubs will be passing at this stage of the draft anyway? I guess they still have value for clubs matching bids?
Interested in your thought on this dynamic and how it will play out in this unusual year.

I think that’s about right with around 50 being taken, clubs with 3rd rounders that they won’t use may send them to clubs that need extra points and get a higher pick in return. Clubs will find ways to maximise those later picks.

Just wondering what you think of some Ovens & Murray prospects in the next couple of years. We have been a strong league, but our number of drafts have been low lately. We know Elijah Hollands will go in the top 10 this year which is great, Charlie Byrne is another highly rated prospect. Next year, prospects include Jett Smith and Ned Pendergast (Yarrawonga), Euriah Hollard and Campbell Chesserr (Lavington), Jake Hodgkin and Noah Bradshaw (Raiders). Do you have thoughts on these boys please?

Chesser is a star and is a likely top 10 pick next year, has power and attacking flair and a great size already. Hodgkin impressed me at half back in a Country v Metro trial last year and thought he was unlucky not to make the final Country squad. Bradshaw is a decent midfielder but lacks a little bit of athleticism.
