The thing that I love, and shows me where we are at are the caliber of players we have that aren’t AA nominated.
Not to say they should be either but it says to me yes we have 8 players nominated but a bunch of players who are influential as opposed to having 8 players and then passengers.
Nank, Vlastuin, Short, Rioli, Prestia, Houli, Astbury, Grigg all really good players who are crucial to us. Butler, Castagna,Higgins all really important role players and on it goes. **** we bat deep.

Grimes deserves it and I think Caddy will just miss because he went quiet through the middle of the season.

The captaincy is an interesting one. The Great Wall was a left field (but inspired) choice last year. There's a push for Hurn. I'd like to see Jack as AA Captain. The way the boys fed him the last few weeks shows how much they love him. Personal growth off the charts. Sometimes I still pinch myself that this is my team.

Grimes not being aa is a disgrace . The other 4 I expected too , caddy was 50/50 had the goals but had a lot of quiet games and did not influence as much as Edwards
