When Zuckerberg was telling people that Biden didn't threaten him, or whatever.

'The right': We don't believe him.
'The left': We don't give a shit what he says. His platform is one of the largest spreaders of hate and misinformation in the world. We will look at the available information to ascertain if Governments are unfairly censoring information.

Then Zuckerberg comes out after Trump threatens him, and says 'oh yeah, nah, Biden totally did all the stuff MAGA claimed! Even though there was no evidence of it, repeatedly through all the Comer, Gym Jordan et al inquiries into it.'.

You don't just believe information if it suits your pre-existing position.
Verify it, look into it.

“ELECTION FRAUDSTERS at levels never seen before, and they will be sent to prison for long periods of time. We already know who you are. DON’T DO IT! ZUCKERBUCKS, be careful!”
-Trump.

You lot tend to be happy to use Yahoo news as a source.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-says-mark-zuckerberg-probably-183657744.html

Trump, who previously threatened Zuckerberg with life in prison, said his comments might have led to the announcement.
"Probably," Trump said when asked if Zuckerberg is "directly responding to the threats you've made to him in the past."

We're all supposed to believe it was actually Biden who was threatening him??!??
No evidence to support it, not a single investigation or inquiry found any evidence to support it, for years.
It must be true. We cannot have Presidents or Governments threatening or having any control over social media 'the digital town square'.
THEN...
Trump literally threatening Zuckerberg, and Zuckerberg suddenly agreeing and fully supporting Trump. Actual verbal and written evidence, directly from Trump himself...
Actual evidence.
Well, that's just good.
What's the problem?

Just apply the most basic levels of critical analysis and comprehension.

Wait, what? Hadn't heard that.

I don't know if there are superior beings out there, but if there are then I don't want them seeing us do that stuff - we'd lose our protected native species status and become a declared pest. Let's just keep being their version of Quokkas.
IIRC, it's one of the proposals for kick-starting Mars' core, giving the planet a magnetosphere which would prevent solar winds from tearing away whatever atmosphere we tried to cultivate via terraforming there. The problem is - beyond the absurdity of taking nukes to Mars just to blow it up, and I'm also not a scientist so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt - it would require stronger nukes than we currently possess to do it.

Then you've got the issue of trying to create a runaway greenhouse affect to free all the water stuck in permafrost - essentially, to create the atmosphere - and then the transition from a carbon dioxide atmosphere to an oxygen-nitrogen mix like Earth using plantlife/algae to slowly pivot the fledgling atmosphere to something more earthlike.

Trying to do it over a timeline of 200ish years is feasible, but that would require long term planning and willing expenditure that simply doesn't exist. Pie in the sky stuff. Musk even if he had the foresight, the intelligence or the staying power probably doesn't have enough money.

Added to that, Musk has not had enough money to create from scratch any of the things he has made money from.

Governments do that risky bit ie: the citizens of that country.

Musk et al then build on it.

The recent bushfires in la have absolutely blown into focus how much of a hard right echo chamber 'x' has become. Obviously musk has had enough unhinged content over recent months, but feel this is taking the absurdness to another level.

I had a scroll thru twitter and I thought Donnie had sycophantic followers FMD

Bannon further widened his aim to attack Musk’s fellow tech giants Peter Thiel and David Sacks for having South African heritage.

"He [Musk] should go back to South Africa,” Bannon said. “Why do we have South Africans, the most racist people on earth, white South Africans, we have them making any comments at all on what goes on in the United States?”
Hilarious, racists fighting other racists for being racist.

I think he has always easily had the money, but when the US Government was giving him billions and billions of dollars for nothing, it would be pretty stupid to say no.

Conservatives are all about small government except when the government is giving them free money.

do as i say etc

i’ll double up, thanks.
